'Come on, mate, keep going! Push! Don't stop!'

Lucas, who was lying on the bench press bench, after doing his last repetition, got up as soon as he put the bench press bar in place and high-fived Alex, who was ready to help him at any moment.

'I've told you forty times that I'm not on any medication!'

Alex didn't believe Lucas and said sarcastically, 'Then how do you explain your improvement in a month? Are you still going to claim that those hamburgers you ate improved you?'

Wiping the sweat from his forehead, Lucas said, 'Yes, believe me or not, I'm going to go for a burger after sports, do you want to come with me?'

Although Alex wanted to refuse Lucas's offer at first, he thought that he could use the cheat meal he gave himself one day a week by eating a hamburger.

Realising that people were still queuing as they talked, Lucas grabbed Alex by the arm and joined the queue heading towards Monster Burger.

'If we chat like this for a while longer, we'll wait longer!'

'Anyway, let's see if the burgers are as good as you claim.'

Lucas said with a sly twinkle in his eye, 'How about a bet?'

'What bet?'

Lucas spread his hands and said nonchalantly, 'A simple bet! If the burgers are as good as I say they are, you pay the whole bill! If you don't like the burgers, I'll pay the whole bill.'

Alex laughed inwardly when he heard Lucas' bet offer.

What if I like it and say I don't like it? This is a bet I can't lose!

Extending his hand to Lucas, Alex said, 'It's a deal then! The loser of the bet pays the whole bill!'

Lucas smiled broadly and said,

'Deal!'

You think I don't know what you're thinking! I'm one hundred per cent sure that you won't be able to hide the fact that you like the burger! 

You'll pay for all the burgers I eat! Hahahha!

Seeing the satisfied smiles of the people leaving the shop as the end of the queue approached, Alex got nervous thinking about the bet he made with Lucas, but when he remembered that the bet depended on his liking, he remembered again.

Even if I like the burgers, I will never accept this!

When the two finally entered Monster Burger and sat down at a table, Alex was looking around in a daze.

"You've never seen a place with such a concept before, have you? Hahaha."

Alex nodded in agreement "You're right, it's more like I'm in a video game exhibition hall than a burger shop."

"Yeah, cosplayers dressed as hunters even come and take pictures with the statues!"

After eating his burger, Alex looked at the crowd of people taking photos with the monster statues and said, "I can believe it."

A friendly employee with a menu in his hand "Welcome Lucas!"

Seeing the familiar waiter, Lucas smiled, "Welcome!"

"Are you having your usual?"

"Yes, a flame horned rhino menu please!"

Taking notes, the waiter turned to Alex and said, "And you, sir?"

Alex was silent in surprise.

What menu? Horned rhino? What the hell is that?

Smiling at Alex's surprise, Lucas said, "Let him have the same!" and ordered for Alex.

"I forgot for a moment that this is your first time here, the menu names are a bit different here."

"I realised the flaming rhino menu... interesting."

Ignoring Alex's mispronunciation of the menu, Lucas said, "There are many different menus here, so much so that they even have menus that explain which meat part of the beast they use!"

Alex laughed and said, "They take the concept of a concept restaurant very seriously. So what part of the rhino...sorry, flame-horned rhino did they use on our menu?"

Lucas said seriously, "The tenderloin! The most valuable and most delicious part! In the Lava Lizard menu they use the lizard's tail, but it's a bit bitter!"

Alex was surprised at Lucas' seriousness for a moment, but then he laughed.

Lucas' mouth began to water as the smell of the hamburgers arriving at the other tables wafted around.

After a short while, the hamburger menus arrived and Lucas started eating without waiting any longer.

Swallowing the last bite of the hamburger he bit, Lucas pointed to Alex's hamburger and said,

"Hurry up or it will get cold! Hamburger tastes better when it's hot!" he said and bit into his own food again with great appetite.

Unable to resist Lucas' appetite and the appetising smell coming from the plate in front of him, Alex finally took his first bite of his burger.
