Adventurer Paradise Park

Originally, Lorraine didn't plan to go for a trip, but now she suddenly decided to have a good time.

"Have you heard of Adventurer Paradise Park?" When Lorraine was inquiring about public transportation routes, the web page automatically recommended tourist attractions based on the places she searched.

"Of course I have heard it before. It's one of the top ten must-visit attractions in Alicata voted in star network. Adventurer Paradise Park is at the top of the list. It is said that everyone who comes to Alicata will go there to play."

Lorraine didn't expect to accidentally pick the right place, excitedly said: "I want to go to Adventurer Paradise Park."

Qian Xu brought Lorraine out of the interstellar train station and called a driverless interstellar taxi through his personal terminal. In just twenty minutes, the two of them had arrived at the Adventurer Paradise Park.

After bought the ticket and read the introduction, Lorraine had just realized that the Adventurer Paradise Park is a kaleidoscope of everything.

The construction of the amusement park used special building materials, advanced science and technology, and a lot of money to build 64 different ecospheres, allowing visitors to spend the shortest time to visit all the most exciting places in the interstellar.

"Adventurer" has three levels of difficulty. Each level has three choices of high, medium, and low. It not only satisfied adventure craves of ordinary people, but also allows high-level strongman to fully enjoy themselves when they can't go to visit the real place. That's why this paradise park is very popular.

Qian Xu calculated the time, and said apologetically, "I still have to receive treatment tonight and must go back before nine o'clock, so we can play only two ecospheres, max."

Lorraine laughed: "Just plays one. Anyway, there is still another time." Qian Xu is willing to accompany her for full ten hours. She is happy already when someone wouldn't want to wait for her even a minute.

Qian Xu asked: "Which ecosphere do you want to play?"

Lorraine was at a loss. Maybe everyone would have a place to go, but her memory was blank. She looked at the introduction and finally chose Yilar Mountain peak, the highest peak of Alicata.

Qian Xu asked: "Do you want to play more of exciting or kind of relaxed?"

"Relax."

Qian Xu chose the lowest difficulty level of one star.

The two of them sat in the transmission pod that look like a bullet head and soon arrived at the entrance of the Yilar Mountain Ecosphere.

Lorraine walked inside and her eyes widened in surprise.

They were on a meander mountain path, surrounded by luxuriant lush green, birds chirp, and insects.

Far away were beautiful high and low green mountain ranges stretched thousand miles away as far as eyes can see.

Some few highest peaks towered up into the sky. The bright white snowy top seem like it linked to heaven in the cloud.

Lorraine couldn't help taking a deep breath, feeling refreshed and carefree instantly.

She exclaimed: "It doesn't look like an imitation at all. No wonder it is the top ten must-see attractions."

"If you have been to Yilar Mountain, you can feel that it is still different from the real one."

"Hope I have a chance to go in the future."

While chatting, the two of them climbed along the path overgrown with grass.

Lorraine was sweating. The mountain blew cool and comfortable breeze. She freely spread her arms and continuously shouting out at the mountains range: "Heyyyyy"

Qian Xu smiled and said, "You are really not afraid at all!"

"We chose the lowest difficulty. It shouldn't be dangerous, right? And, aren't you a level strongman? Even if there are beasts, there will definitely be nothing wrong."

"The most terrifying thing is not the beast, but me."

Lorraine slowed down and looked at Qian Xu in surprise.

"There is no one here. If I have sudden mutation change, you won't even have anyone calling for help."

Lorraine smiled. She bent over and plucked a small blue flower from the wayside giving it to Qian Xu: "The flowers that bloom today will wither tomorrow, but will the flowers not bloom today because of tomorrow's wilt? I can't distance you just because some accident may never happen."

Qian Xu received the flower: "What if one day, the accident really happens? Then it will be too late to regret."

Lorraine raised her chin, smiled and pointed at herself. With confident: "I have already made a decision. I will learn physical skills and become an A level strongman. If there's really that day, I will tie you with a rope and wait for you to regain consciousness.   

Qian Xu looked at Lorraine in silent.   

Lorraine made a cheeky face at him: "Do not not believe me. My strength test officer said that I have great potential!" I can't be a superb non-human person, there should still be a chance to be a superb normal person. 

Qian Xu smiled and put the blue flower in his pocket: "I believe!"   

Three hours later, the two climbed halfway up the mountain.   

Qian Xu asked, "Are you hungry?"   

"A little bit, you should be hungry too?" Lorraine was very sorry that she completely forgot about having to eat lunch and let a sick person get hungry with her.

She checked the smart map given by the paradise park to see where there are nutrient for sale but turned out that they have to go out to be able to buy them. If you feel hungry in the ecosphere, please figure it out yourself. Don't forget, you are in an adventure.   

Lorraine was speechless.   

Qian Xu smiled and said, "Come with me."   

After climbing up a steep slope, it suddenly opened up to a wide panorama. Unexpectedly there's a small lake with blue water reflecting the blue sky and white clouds. Quiet and beautiful.   

Lorraine was about to speak in surprise, Qian Xu put his index finger on his lips telling her not to make a sound.   

He closed his eyes and listened. Suddenly jumped out like an arrow, disappearing into the bushes in the blink of an eye.   

A flock of wild birds suddenly flew from the dense bushes and fluttered into the sky like a colorful cloud blazing.   

When the birds dispersed, Qian Xu came back with a bird and two eggs, raised up at Lorraine: "Lunch."   

Lorraine was surprised and delighted. People of interstellar era have become accustomed to rely on various convenient nutrients. Very few people will utilize local resources and cook original ingredients.   

Qian Xu said: "The thin tall plant with white flowers on top by the lakeside is called Water Caper. The stems are edible, sweet and refreshing. You pick some of them. It's good to be eaten with grilled meat."

"OK!"   

Lorraine went to reap happily. Qian Xu work with wild birds by the lake.   

When Lorraine brought back a large handful of Water Caper, Qian Xu's wild birds were already cleaned up.   

Lorraine offered to take care of roasting the bird meat. Qian Xu then handled with the bird eggs.

Bird eggs were as big as a small bowl. The shell was very hard. Qian Xu shook the egg vigorously a little while to let it mix well. Then took out a sharp army knife, cut a small hole on the top of the egg, directly used its egg shell as a container. He placed the egg by the fire edge, let the flame slowly simmered.

Ten minutes later, they had a savory bird's egg ready to eat.   

Qian Xu wrapped the bird eggs with fresh wet leaves. After making sure that it was no longer hot, he handed it to Lorraine: "I haven't done anything like this in many years. I've lack practice. You taste if it's fresh or not."   

Lorraine remembered when she spent three days and nights in the wasteland. She actually has a slight fear for wilderness. Today Qian Xu had changed her impression, that wilderness can also be fun and interesting.   

Lorraine looked at the surrounding scenery while eating the bird egg: "Alicata is really a beautiful planet!"   

Qian Xu asked: "Do you know what Alicata means?"   

Lorraine shook her head.   

"Alicata derived from the Latin language of the ancient earth era, which means 'abandonment'."

"Abandonment?"   

"This planet was once a garbage planet of Al Empire."

Lorraine was stunned. There was no way to believe that such a beautiful planet was once an abandoned junk planet, and did not expect that the gratitude and grudges between Odin Federation and Al Empire would be such a long history. In some meaning, it can even be said that Odin Federation was an independent part of Al Empire.

"A group of mutant came to an abandoned garbage planet, gathered in desperation and revolt. They vowed to build themselves a nation where mutant can live happily. They united to build the Sparta Palace. Sparta's Latin language meant 'hope'. My teacher once said that the Sparta Palace is for the mutant to know that in abandonment the hope exists."   

Lorraine dumbfounded. Although she was not a mutant, but that time when she was walking desperately in the wasteland, she had felt the feeling of being abandoned by the whole world. She could fully understand them. From 'abandonment' to 'hope' was a very difficult path. But there is no way back, you can only cut off all means of retreat and move forward courageously!
