Part 224

Lisa opened and took the file with her.

When she went inside Canary was on his chair but holding his father's photo in his hands.

After Joel and Lucy had left Canary got the urge to look at his father and it was after a couple of minutes when Lisa came in.

He put it aside on knowing that someone was coming in.

" Good afternoon.." Lisa spoke to get his attention.

He looked up at her with silence that asked her what she came for.

" I brought the work.." She said.

" Put it there and leave" Canary said and got ready to use his laptop when Lisa said.

" How are you feeling now ?" She asked.

" About what ?" He asked looking at her again.

" The bruise you got last time." She reminded.

" Ooh, That… it's okay." He responded putting the focus on laptop again.

Lisa looked at him and sensed that he wasn't in his normal moods.

" .. I am.. is everything okay ?" She asked with concern.

He looked at her again trying to put back his cold face.

" I am good. Is there anything you want ?" He asked.

" I am.. not really.." She said with a soft smile.

" I will go back then." She said and turned to leave.

As she turned to go she heard him release a heavy sigh.
