"Do I look stupid? Why should I accept this small amount when I can become your husband and have all your money to myself?" Conflicted, he tries to approach Silvia but is left stunned at what she has to say. "I'll admit, I'm a bit shocked myself, but I'm glad Kian has a mate! Chapter 58

Davien's P. O. V

We would never see each other again…

There was something about the way his eyes darkened and his tone fell that made me feel he was implying something I couldn't pick up on. Why wouldn't we see each other again?

Was he planning on going abroad again after all this was over? Or did he have someone else? The thought of Kian disappearing from my sight runied my mood the entire day, and before I knew it, it was nightfall.

"We've been here the entire day Davien, don't you think it's time we get going?" Kian's voice pulled me out of my thoughts, I blinked twice and noticed people walking towards the parking lot.

Shit, I had completely spaced out!

"Yeah, let's go." I stood up first and turned away towards the parking lot area, Kian let out a sigh and followed, "We really shouldn't have come here today, it was a waste of our time." He said following closely behind.
