CHAPTER 56

　　"I'm trying," I told her.

　　"I know and I wish I was more help but I'm weak. I'm using most of my energy talking to you. Our mate is coming for us."

　　"How do you know?" I asked hopeful.

　　"I can feel him trying to reach us. We can't mind-link but we can show him where we are."

　　I remembered that time when we were able to see the past through each other's eyes. When I was able to see what Ashley did to him and he was able to see how I felt when he left.

　　"How do we do it? " I asked her.

　　"Focus on him. His voice, his face."

　　I did as she said hoping it worked.

　　They opened the trunk and pulled me out.

　　"Hurry up and get her inside," Ashley said, panicking.

　　"Shut the hell up I'm going. Damn I didn't realize how annoying you were," Bryce said to her.

　　He opened some kind of door that led to a cellar. I was basically pushed down the stairs since I could barely hold myself up.
