Dwayne could sense the stress and tension in Maki's expression when she appeared earlier. If the issue with the supplies was serious enough for Ryan to leave, Dwayne wanted to help as much as he could.
After all, that was why he was hired.
Dwayne smiled at Maki reassuringly as she made her way back. He then returned to the Matchmaker System book he had left on the table and began to ponder.
Based on their reactions, it seemed difficult for the serious Nathan to notice Sarah. It was highly likely he might find her annoying if she tried to initiate a conversation while he was working.
How will he help them?
A few minutes later, Maki came back to fetch a list of items from the cabinet. Dwayne had finished cleaning the table, and with no customers coming in, he had free time.
Maki said, "If you have homework from school, you can do it here. If you need your phone or laptop, you can bring them inside. Just be careful not to spill drinks on them."
