Chapter 178: Investigating Carion Pass

Almost at the same time that Rohan and the great army left the empire of Elyria, the situation in the north was slowly evolving.

After Carion Pass had been taken by the orcs, there were no more movements from them. Even so, the great emperor didn't dare to take it lightly. This pass was the bigger one crossing the mountains separating the lands of the orcs and the humans, but it was far from being the only one.

His armies reinforced each of those points and ready themselves for the incoming storm. But after more than a month of waiting, nothing happened.

They sent countless spies sneaking inside the orcs' lands to gather everything they could, but the difficulty was too great. The humans were keeping their frontier, but it was also the case with the orcs. For a human to successfully pass through their camps and the different tribes monitoring the surroundings, was almost impossible.

Without more solutions, it was decided to investigate Carion Pass.
