Unexpected killing

"Who the hell told you to r*PE her until death?! You fucking moron!" The leader of the vampires said, and his subordinate bowed his head in shame.

"W-what did you do?!" Nyx screamed as he struggled against the chains, looking at the naked and dead bodies of his wife and daughter after they removed his blindfold.

"Please wake up, Jasmine. Our leader will save us. She will come for us. Don't worry. Everything is going to be fine!" Nyx denied the reality of his dead mate even when the heart-wrenching pain in his heart was a clear indication that the bond was broken.

"Please, I beg you. You promised me you wouldn't leave me alone. Please wake up, my love. I know it's hard, and I am so sorry for being a helpless mate but -" Nyx stopped when he saw blood pooling around his wife's legs increasing with each passing second.
