"It was a game of survival." The great Empire of Alfaros was in chaos. Prince Regan was returning from the battlefield after four years. Years ago, he used to be the most beautiful prince of the Empire. Ironically, the same prince was today known as The Masked Prince. But the war was over. And he was to return. . . . Looking at the green eyes that didn't even flicker at the sight of his scarred face, Regan was filled with a surprise for a moment. At the same time, something flashed in his cold eyes when he saw how calm she looked. "What is your name?" "Evelyn, Your Highness" "Evelyn..." Regan tasted the name on his lips. His red eyes looked at her face which was completely blank and he said "Evelyn, you will be my personal slave from today on." Evelyn looked calm. However, as time passed, Evelyn realized that Regan wanted more. Much more than she could give him. She tried to stop him. Evelyn's eyes widened when she heard Derrick. She didn't know if he was right but she decided to believe him.
She soon composed herself and said as she stepped inside the room and locked the door.
"We can't leave under his eyes then…otherwise they will find us soon."
Derrick nodded his head. He looked around the room and found a window. He limped towards the window and pushed it open.
Seeing the grassy ground below, Derrick nodded his head and said
"We can escape through here."
Evelyn also picked up the bed sheet and tied it to the window firmly so that they could go down easily. She looked at Derrick after that who shook his head and said
"You go down first. I will go and lock the door."
Evelyn wanted to argue but she was afraid that they would waste time arguing only after that. So she followed what Derrick said.
Once she was down on the ground, she looked toward Derrick who was ready to come down. But then the next moment, he disappeared from the window suddenly.
