With a completely surprised expression on his face, Rex walked to stand beside Elias. Except for him, there were standing three more people there who had been given the responsibility to protect Evelyn by Regan recently.
"What is going on here?"
Rex asked Elias in a whisper who had a helpless expression on his face. The three people standing beside Rex and Elias didn't look any different.
Rex raised his eyebrows in surprise and his attention was soon gained by the two people arguing in the middle of the hall.
"Don't be stubborn, Evelyn. You are not going anywhere. Stay here and wait for the war to end."
Regan said firmly. He even had this cold expression on his face which would stop anyone from saying another word in front of him. In the past, it always worked. It worked for Evelyn as well.
But today Evelyn seemed to have eaten something special.
He saw as she squared her shoulders clearly looking nervous yet she was determined and then said
