Chapter 56: The Leyline Eater

Kirisame Magnolia. A man of intelligence, diligence, perseverance and thoughtfulness. It was not obvious since he does not act or speak like one, but he is indeed that kind of person. He is both a businessman and a teacher.

He does not experience the normal hardships of the rich such as family infightings, lack of love, rising competitions or even the money cannot buy everything troupe. Unfortunately, there is one thing that Kirisame has not been ready for: to burden himself from the negative consequences of every person he has helped before.

The Leyline Mask's authority as the name implies, receives its powers through a leyline where all connected energies blessed by the abundance flow, however, it has no filter. All energy, despite it being negative, is being collected. Kirisame has lost control of it way back when the negative energies have finally overpowered the positive ones, corrupting the Mask in its entirety along with the wielder.
