Chapter 24: You're Lucky you're pretty!

All the Avengers were assembled in a meeting room inside the flying helicarrier.

"According to our scientist, the energy leakage is increasing exponentially from the space rifts, at most in 3 days will they arrive" Nick Fury explained.

Yesterday spatial rifts started speaking in the grand canyon. and they grew bigger and bigger.

So the avengers had been assembled to be on standby. Everyone except for Tony Stark stayed on the helicarrier. Tony had "Things and women to do." In his own words.

Black panther had taken off his mask and revealed himself as the king of Wakanda, but his behaviour had changed slightly ever since the last time Superman saved Wakanda.

Now he, spends much of his time with Spiderman for some reason, always on their phones.

Most of the others sparred and trained together, getting to know each other better.

Dr. Banner was hiding in the laboratory.

Suddenly an alarm went off, and a voice came out of the speakers.

"Avengers get ready, the first batch of aliens have arrived."

Those who could fly, flew down, and the others took a helicopter. As Superman landed, he found the canyon surrounded by military snipers and gunsmen, ready for war.

"Superman, support us from the air, and take down any airborne enemies." Captain America gave his first order as he took out a gun and a sword from a bag he brought with him.

"Spiderman, keep close to black widow and give your support anywhere you see fit, don't stray from the group and keep close to black widow." He said while throwing the gun and sword towards Spiderman.

"This isn't a street fight, you might need these." The captain said to him.

"Hawkeye.... you know the drill." He said to his earpiece as Hawkeye and hulk stayed on the helicopter for support.

"Thor you're the vanguard" Captain said, and Thor responded with a warriors smile. Happy to battle.

"Black Panther, You and I fight side by side, right behind Thor taking down anyone that passes him. the rest is up to you black widow." He said as he prepared his guns and shield, getting a nod from them.

"Hulk, you wait for further orders" Captain said.

"Hopefully they won't come." Bruce Banner said in their earpieces.

They Looked forward and saw hundreds of Frost Giants reveal themselves. Standing ready. Only when the Grand Canyon was filled with Frost Giants did the biggest spatial rifts open, revealing four figures.

The king of Frost Giants, Laufey standing at 5 meters, and his right hand man Utgard-Loki standing at 4 meters.

Beside them was a gigantic armour standing at three meters, with flames spouting out of its eye sockets.

ANd lastly,. very beautiful, black haired woman that looked to be in her mid thirties stood there with a grin as she looked at Thor.

Thor at this point had lost some of the color on his face.

"Update us Thor, who are they and what can they do? Captain America asked.

"King and former King of the frost Giants, The destroyer, an amour made by all three sky fathers.

And... Hela, my post powerful sibling, She can equal a young Odin..."

'I thought only one of them would come. If all four came, then what happened to Asgard?" He said in realization.

"Heimdall! Send us somewhere we can fight without destroying Midgard! Thor shouted into the skies, in hopes that Heimdall would respond.

Hela laughed with glee.

"Hahahaha Brother, you weasel, did you really think that Odin was still the same Odin of the past? He is nothing but a shell of the warrior he used to be, empty and weak, did you really think he could keep protecting the realms?" Hela Odinsdotter laughed and her voice reached everywhere.

As she said that, the sky darkened with dark, grey and black clouds while thunderous lightning started flashing every now and then.

"She's Lucky's she's pretty" Spiderman commented about Hela.

"My brothers and sisters will keep Asgard safe.... and Sif..." Thor said calmly, but one could hear that he was boiling on the inside as his eyes started shining and lightning started cracking from his Hammer up to his shoulder. He was ready to fight.

"You really think those weaklings, who couldn't bring forth their true potential of our bloodline, could stand a chance? All of them defeated, dead and gone! Asgard Has fallen, And I shall rebuild it in my image!" She Said with excitement. But at this, the frost King Laufey wrinkled his brows.

"Enough with the chatter, let's kill." Laufey said. But just as they were going to start the war, a rainbow-like coloured beam encompassed them all.

"Heimdall!"Thor cried out in happiness, this meant that Asgard was still standing.

Hela and the rest frowned as they all disappeared from the Canyon.

"Where did they go?" A soldier couldn't help but to ask. All the Frost Giants and Avengers disappeared.

Suddenly a flying robotic man arrived at the grand Canyon, "Am I late to the party!" He said jokingly but as he arrived He only saw very confused soldiers, but no enemies or allies.

'Am I really late to the party?' Tony couldn't help but to think

The Avengers only felt space disorienting before they saw that they were somewhere else, a beautiful place with greenery, mountains and rivers, it was like a paradise.

Hela recognized this place.

"Thor do you know where we are?" Hela asked, not waiting for him to answer she continued.

"This used to be an ancient technological planet, Krycuropton, they were peace lovers but had great strength equal to Asgard. Our peace loving father cursed them, so that they shall become weaker the older the sun is. Their sun had already turned red, so they became just as weak as Midgardians. Do you know what he did then?" She said with a glee, looking forward to seeing Thor's face as she told him.

"Then he slaughtered every single one of them!" she laughed as she told a great story of her father's past glory.

Superman instantly looked up and saw the red shining sun. In fear, he tried squeezing his fist, and he still felt his strength. 'Hmm does this also count as a weakness?' Kevin thought.

All his Kryptonian weaknesses were removed. Even though the sun rays felt weaker, they still had an effect, but he didn't lose his strength.

Thor was enraged about what Hela had revealed.

"Keep your formation as well as you can, our earpieces don't work here, Captain shouted.

Thor raised his hammer and gave a roar as he went into battle. Superman flew up and used his laser beams to kill the enemies and support everyone.

"Go forth my warriors, Utgard-Loki, you lead them!" Laufey commanded.

In real life, there are no red, yellow, blue stars. Light encompasses all colours, so all stars are white.

It's just that when light hits the atmosphere, it slightly changes the trajectory, similar to when it hits the water.

The change in trajectory changes the colour of the sunlight, the more it breaks the trajectory, the more it changes. because when it hits the atmosphere, depending on the angle, some light will continue outside of the atmosphere and some will go inside depending on the frequency of the light rays.

So when the sun is straight above, in the middle of that day, when no shadows is cast, and you look up, you'll se a white sun. As it falls, the white becomes, yellow, orange and then when the sun sets its almost red in colour. and then at sun rise it will be red, orange, yellow and then white when it's straight up and there's no change of trajectory, and all the rays go inside the atmosphere because it's path is straight.
