The Married Life Of Immortals

{Disclaimer: The women in this book are highly dysfunctional and violent. If you are not a fan of Tsudere's and Yandere's, this might not be your cup of tea, and the MC is an asshole.} Bane Takashi is a criminal with a knack for getting into trouble—big trouble. After one too many bad choices and a whole lot of theft, he’s got half the world gunning for him. Just when things seem bleak, a mysterious transparent blue woman shows up claiming she's an AI from the future, sent to stop the world from going down the drain. Her solution? Bane has to let his current body die so he can jump into a game world, ten years before it even launches. When Bane wakes up in the game, he’s in the body of a 5-year-old, but with all his memories still intact. He's stuck on an island with the Village of Heroes at its heart. It's here that Bane starts mastering every type of magic, mysticism, and even some wild stuff like witchcraft and cultivation, all to gear up for the craziness that is Dominion Online. Things get even more chaotic when Bane meets a fiery woman who seems to have it out for him. But before he can even figure out what’s happening, she’s already planning their wedding! So now, Bane—an immortal human—and his equally immortal and chaotic elf wife are on a wild ride to save the world(s) from these big bads known as the Supreme Ones. His life might not be so bad if she was the only one, but his overwhelming personality ends up pulling a few more dysfunctional women into the mess. It’s a crazy, toxic, and chaotic adventure, and just because Bane’s being called a hero now doesn’t mean he’s leaving his criminal past behind. Discord: https://discord.gg/7ZDTTCq99Z

Chapter 89: Trouble Finds Me

Bane left Dorlidia's Astral Emporium with a smile, even if he was still feeling sore from his training with the rats. Bane stretched his body out, but then noticed that there was someone looking at him.

Turning his head, Bane spotted a hooded man. It wasn't anyone that he recognized, but that wasn't surprising to Bane. He had only met a small part of the village's population, so seeing a person he didn't know wasn't surprising, but the look the man was giving him made Bane feel like he was an animal ready for slaughter.

The man's eyes were narrow, and Bane could see him clenching his teeth. It was clear he didn't like him, and the fact that he didn't even try to hide the fact, told Bane that he was up to something.

"Can I help you with something?" Bane asked, and the man shook his head and disappeared.
