The Mana System Of The Apocalypse

Gods out looking for entertainment decide to have what they called Universal Supremacy. This is my story of how I became the new God. Like any other day or like no other everyone on the planet all heard the voice claiming to be our creator all at the same time. "Mortals your progress is too slow for me and we am running out of time. So to speed things up, I will be releasing mana to your galaxy. Grow strong and grow fast so that you may one day fight for supremacy and rule by my side." And that my dear readers is how I started my journey to becoming the new God.

Conquering The Zombie Horde

I teleport to the front of the zombie horde and release my newest space skill, Void Slash. It cut through the zombies as if they were made of butter, and I aimed it high enough to cut off their heads. My first attack killed like twenty zombies in a row before I teleported away from the slasher coming for my head.

I appear behind the head of a basher and cover the tip of my spear in space element before stabbing it into its head. All the while looking out for the zombie controlling the rest. By the time the basher hits the ground, I was already on to the next one.

I look behind me and see Joe's flames burning everything in front of him, and it didn't take long before the rest of the team joined the battle. Cyrstal and Blaze were shifting through the horde, killing all the weaker ones in the way as they made their way towards the evolved zombies. Sam wasn't too far behind them as he barrels his way through the horde to find his prey. I could see Draka wrapping up a group of zombies as she squeezes them to death.

Battle squad one was aiming for the weaker zombies from the horde while the battle beasts protected them. The battle was tough on them, but I can see their resolve to be stronger, and after this battle, I can call them soldiers. The battle beasts made sure to protect them and had their determination to grow stronger, so mayhem was everywhere.

Focusing back on the middle of the horde, I spot a group of evolved zombies all together as if they are protecting something.

"Time - Speed Suit"

Pushing my speed to the limit, I zip through the horde as I kill all the zombies in my way, heading for the middle. The zombie leading the horde didn't forget to send more and more zombies towards me as it moved farther away.

It was in the embrace of an overly large basher surrounded by 25 bashers, 40 slashers, and ten zombies I had never seen before. Teleporting myself right in the middle of them, I finally got a good look at the zombie in control. It was about 4 feet tall with dark green skin and a humungous head. It looks as if he will fall over at any time. It has big eyes, and I could tell with one look that it has intelligence.

I suck in a cold breath as I look at the screen before my eyes. This thing has 1000 Mp now wonder it started to develop intelligence. I knew right away I had to kill it at any cost because if it keeps on evolving, who knows how big a horde it can control.

'What if it gets smart enough to start its own culture or start to use weapons and make plans. It has to die today.'

I was blinking once more until I was right above the cerebrum's head. I was ready to go in for the kill, but I soon as I made eye contact with the cerebrum, I felt a massive headache.

Falling to the ground, I rolled away from the slasher that was coming for my head. When the grogginess cleared up blinked back further out. That scares the s**t out because we can't see the attack coming. Rethinking what happened to me, I quickly realized that the cerebrum zombie what using mental attacks.

Pulling myself together, I take out a rifle from my independent space and begin firing at the cerebrum. All the while, I have to keep dodging and killing any zombie around me.

Finally, scaring the cerebrum out of hiding, I teleport right above its head as I charge up my most potent attack. Releasing a powerful attack cutting space apart as its head was severed from its body. The cerebrum tried to let out one final mental blast before it fell, but it was cut short before it could take effect. Its giant head fell over to the side and was stepped on by the same basher holding it. With the brain of the horde dead, the zombies start to attack randomly again. There was no more order to their attack, and it became easier to kill them.

Blinking to dodge the slasher's attack coming my way, I covered myself in time element before I was zipping through them. Sizing up the basher that used to carry the cerebrum, I blinked behind its head and stabbed my spear with space element into its head. The spear got stuck halfway through, and I got caught off guard as I got hit by its return attack. I rolled on the ground to get back to my feet and looked at the basher in surprise.

It was the first time I could not one hit kill something before. The skull of this zombie must be made of metal because I could barely penetrate it even with my space element.

Blinking behind the slasher coming from my right. I stabbed my spear through its head; while I flashed in front of the basher and sent my spear through its right eye. When my spear went all the way to the skull, I ravaged its brain with my space element to kill it. Feeling relieved, I kept both item drops from the cerebrum and basher into my space pendant.

Looking at the slashers heading my way, I started a one-man massacre of the slashers because they were the most troublesome. Some items were dropping from the kills, so I swept them up into my space pendant along the way. Covered in my time speed suit, I moved through the battlefield aiming for the slashers.

Fighting the bashers was a lot more strenuous because of their overpowering strength. But as long as you can get behind them and give a strong enough attack to pass through their tough skin and skull. Then it is possible to kill them.

Most of the bashers were taken out by Joe and the other bronze rank beasts. Since they surpassed the bashers in speed, they focused on attacking from behind to do the most damage.

Joe would leave burning fist prints on their skulls, boiling their brain in the process. Blaze would smash their heads with his flaming claws and strong strength. Crystal will use her fantastic speed and agility to fry the bashers' brains with lightning attacks. Sam would get into a boxing match with the bashers, but because of his superior intelligence, it was one-sided fights. Draka would wrap them up tightly and puncture their skulls with its space fangs.

The new zombie anima was a little annoying as they were much harder to kill, and their regeneration ability was nothing to scoff about. They could reconnect body parts, and if the head is not entirely severed, they can reconnect it and continue to fight. Their heads would have to be completely removed or destroyed to kill them.

The anima was reasonably annoying to kill, but it was still doable. Everyone had to concentrate more energy on their attacks in order to kill them completely. So powerful fire, lighting, space, and gravity elements were used to restain them.

Around three hours later, the battle was over, and we were all tired mentally and physically. We gathered all the dropped items and made sure no one was killed or injured before we left the scene. I had Joe and all the fire element users burn all the bodies so that they cant be used to feed any zombies or beasts.
