MEGAMI IS DEAD

Yuuma

I held her lifeless body; she was so cold that I got scared. What is happening? What has happened? Where did I go wrong? I immediately summoned Aruko.

"What happened, My lord?" Aruko asked, worried.

"I dont… knowwww.. She.. she.. she.. just fainted," I said, stuttering.

"I don't know what to do," I said, holding back my tears. He immediately held her hands and closed his eyes for a minute.

"She is gone; I can't find her soul. Megami is separated from her body. Logically, she is dead without Megami.

"What do you mean?" I said that and held her but she was physically gone. What happened to Megami? Who did she meet recently? check the surveillance around her house. " I screamed at Aruko.

"I told you to always protect her, never leave her sight. You know so many wandering souls are after her," I scolded Aruko.

"Where is Neon? Get her here right now!! Let's take her to the cave," I said angrily. I was trying to think straight. Aruko summoned her.

*At the Cave

The Cave is beautiful and made from ancient rock from 1600. It was the hiding place of Megami and Yuuma when they were younger. It was rearranged to keep Megami's soul safe with lots of lilies because it was Megami's favorite flower. The scent of lilies increases her life span. Megami's ancient face was drawn around the wall, and she is so beautiful in ancient painting.

"Two wondering spirits met her and I think they summoned her soul with their reincarnation time," Aruko said softly.

(From the Author: Reincarnation time: it's about how many times they will be reincarnated. But the two ladies decided not to reincarnate just to summon her soul from her body as revenge to make her a wandering spirit.)

"They know you can't cross over the time slip; that's why they used their time. Now they will never reincarnate," Neon said.

"Someone must be helping them, because they can't perform this ritual without a god's help," Aruko said.

"Who is that petty god destroying my plans? He should pray; I will never meet him in this life," I said.

"Find their present generation and make them sick; I want their present generation to suffer for their deed," I said calmly as I gently caressed Megami's face.

"Make them pay for this to their unborn child sickness, and show no mercy," I said to Aruko.

"My Lord, to their unborn children? That is harsh, Just let the kids go. Show mercy; you are a god." Neon said she was pleading as a woman with a soft spot for kids. She lost her child because of a curse from a witch.

"I can't show mercy. Megami suffered for decades; she never lived longer; she died at 18. This was the only time for her to live her life, and they decided to do so. What revenge? What stupid mercy?

"Please show mercy on the kids." Neon kneeled down to plead.

"Take her out; I don't wish to see her." I said to Aruko, and he held Neon as they left.

"Megami, I will bring you back even if I have to beg my father. Even if he requests my soul, I will gladly sell it. I can't leave you. Everybody who harmed you will pay everybody, even their little kids. Just stay there safely; don't wander around. I will come get you; I can cross seven seas just to see you." I kissed her forehead, which was so cold, like ice.

I made a mind call to Aruko and told him that he should order more lilies for Megami.

"Megami, my pretty Megami. When will they let us be? I have just this 21st century to live; once its gone, we can't be together again.

"Should I go beg my father? He said i should never bring your issues to him. He is scared of being despised by the supreme being. They all want me to send you back to the afterlife. They don't want you to reincarnate because 100 lives were lost in the fire. That's why I want you to live in this body and have more time to see the world before you go away. I will never reincarnate; I will use it all for you. You and I will stay in this century and fulfill our dreams. Remember you saying here back in those peaceful days that we would get married and have kids? Fight for us, Megami, and I will do my best here. Fight to live!!

I covered her up and dashed out to meet my father.

*Outside the cave.

"Don't you think he is taking this too far? Its been centuries, and he is stocked with life and death. He isn't dead, and he isn't alive either. He can't reincarnate again," Neon said to Aruko.

"What do you wish to do? His life revolves around Megami; he came into this present life for her. He can't abandon her. And I will follow whatever he wants," Aruko said sternly.

"But he wants to lay a curse on little kids," Neon said, worried.

"What if the supreme being decides to turn him into dust? Neon said it with a worried face.

"Nothing will happen," Aruko said confidently.

Yuuma continued

I kneeled before the throne of Haro.

Haro is the god in charge of gods like me. He is like a father to all gods.

"Father!! Father!!! Father!!!!, please give Megami life." I screamed since he was ignoring me and never came out to see me.

"I am ready to give all my reincarnation time; please give Megami life," I begged, but he never came out to see me.

"I, Yuuma. Your faithful servant, I'm ready to give up my life. I have neither a generation nor the woman I love. Take pity on this soul that has no generation to pray for me. Megami is everything to me," i said, and he came out and sat on his throne. I bowed to him.

"Just for a little cunning girl, you have turned into useless gods, a girl that ended 100 people's lives. She is dead now; you can't get her back. Those souls that sacrificed their reincarnation time have vowed never to lose to Megami. They were determined to keep her out of this world. They said, When they met her, she seemed happy." Haro said, looking down on Yuuma.

"Please help for my sake; i can't live without her!" I begged Haro.

"Megami is not who you think she is; later, you will beg me to take her life," King Haro said.

"I don't think that will ever happen. I love Megami; I can't leave her, and I am sure when she remembers everything, she will want to stay with me," I said confidently.

"Do you wish to save her right now?" Haro said, smiling.

"Yes, father," I answered.

"Lydia!! Lydia!! Lock Prince Yuuma in the dungeon of darkness; never let him out for 2 weeks," King Haro said, with rage in his eyes.

"Father, you can't do this!! Megami is lost in the death realm." I screamed my lungs out.

"Do I look like I care?" King Haro said, laughing.

Yuuma was bound by numerous chains as he was dragged out of the palace.
