"Magic?" Ezekiel asked "I have. Are you thinking about some sort of love position?"

"No idiot. I know a powerful wizard who can help us if you're interested" I said

"For Charlotte, anything" he said

*That girl actually became useful to me after all*

The king had Charlotte during the queen's pregnancy and kept her a secret from the kingdom. After the queen died, he brought her out into the spotlight and kept Sebastian in the dark. Almost everyone forgot about the prince.

Sebastian called for a powerful magician to help them. After telling him his plan the magician refused at first, saying it was wrong. Sebastian threatened him and in the end the magician gave him a crystal.

"Use this for when you need it most. It will boost your magic." The magician said "I will take care of the princess" Sebastian gave the crystal to Ezekiel.

The magician put thoughts into Mal's head with magic and convinced him to kidnap the princess.

Sebastian knew that Charlotte liked Hero and wanted her gone. He thought that she would fall for Ezekiel and forget about Hero.

*But none of that happened.* I thought angrily *Charlotte fell in love with Hero and Ezekiel killed Mal for no reason*

I was only half way through the book. *There's more?* I wondered as I flipped through the pages. *The rest is what happened after the first book*

*Why? Why did my plan not work?!* I thought angrily as I watched Hero and Charlotte getting married *He should be with ME!*

Charlotte danced happily with her new husband. She had a bright twinkle in her eyes. Hero on the other hand...he looked as dull as ever. He would not look at Charlotte and if he did, it would only be for a split second.

*He's still the same as ever…*

I went to the king. "Why would you allow the princess to marry a knight? Wouldn't it be better for her to marry a higher noble or something" I asked

He looked down at me and said "What Charlotte wants is what she gets." and told me to leave.

I had been walking towards my room to figure out another plan when I heard fighting down the hall.

"Why?! Why are you making me do this?"

"Because I love you!"

"This isn't love. This is an obsession."

Hero stormed out of a room with Charlotte trailing behind her.

My heart jumped for joy. *He doesn't love her! He's still the same as ever! But how do I get rid of the pest?*

After a few nights of pondering over this question, Sebastian finally decided on an answer and acted fast.

A few days later and the princess was pronounced dead.

"This entire story is getting out of hand. What the hell?" I asked out loud

"Are you reading the side story of "My Story"?" A girl who was walking her dog asked me

I looked up from the book and said "How'd you know?" *She's a wizard!*

"Your reaction was the same as mine" she laughed

"It really did have a messed up ending didn't it?" She asked

I tilted my head in confusion and asked "What do you mean?"

"You haven't read all of it?" She asked

I shook my head "I don't think I want to read the rest…" I admitted

"I can tell you the ending then," she said "After Sebastian kills the princess, he tells Hero everything that he has done. And I mean EVERYTHING. Hero is disgusted and tries to leave the castle. The king finds out and has him executed. THEN, after Sebastian finds out, HE kills the king. Long story short, Sebastian takes over the kingdom."

I stare in shock. *What the f-*

"I had the same reaction!" The girl said and pulled out her phone

I stare at the book in shock. The girl hands me her phone.

"The author posted this after writing the book" she said "Read it"

"THE YOU THAT YOU'RE LIVING RIGHT NOW ISN'T YOU ANYMORE. COME BACK" the post said

She took the phone back and said "Odd huh?"

"Yeah odd…" I said

"It's like...they were trying to wake someone up." She said

"Yeah…" I said

"WAKE UP!"

I jump in shock and look around for whoever said that. "Did you hear that?" I asked

"Hear what?" The girl asked

"COME BACK! HERO!"

"Didn't you-" I looked back to find the girl but she was gone.

"PLEASE WAKE UP!"

That sounds like Mal…

"Mal?" I yelled

"YES! IT'S ME! WAKE UP!" He yelled

"How can I hear you?" I asked

"IT'S THE RINGS. WE CAN COMMUNICATE WITH EACH OTHER."

I looked down at the ring. "But how can I get back to you?"

"I'M NOT SURE. LOOK AROUND. IS ANYTHING WEIRD HAPPENING?" He asked

I looked around *There noth- wait. Why are there no people around? It's a public park. There would be at least one other person here.* I started to walk around but everything was fading. There was nothing left but white.

"Mal? Can you still hear me?" I asked

"YES. DID ANYTHING HAPPEN?" He asked worried

"Everything is gone." I said

After a moment of silence, I asked "Mal?"
