The whole world had seen the clip of Cross' head being blown off by a sawed-off shotgun. The clip was caught from multiple angles. And it was undeniable that the impact and damage of having parts of one's brain blown away would have instantly killed him. But he didn't.
The whole world could not process what they just saw, and the Internet was broken. Every social media platform, blog article, thread, youtube video, and streamer, discusses the undeniable fact in front of them. That someone could die in this world and be brought back to life.
Then the divisions began on what took place on the stage. On whether it was a hoax, fake, a conspiracy, or the actual real thing. But many were still skeptical and retained their rationalist and scientific worldviews. If they could not find sufficient proof or evidence, they would remain skeptical, even in the face of actually witnessing the death and resurrection of the young boy.
