The first night: part one

Since ancient times, within the land of dakani ,there is a certain tribe that could not be mistaken for any other.

 the men of the tribe were always born to have white hair and green eyes and the women with white hair and red eyes ,they dress in desert wear and move in caravans, they are known as the ahjir al gad.

 They are a tribe of nomads that wander the ghiat desert ,living of the land as merchant's and trading in mystical artifacts ,but some chose to follow different paths than others ,and one such chose the life of an adventurer ,his name is Azir al gad.

As azir left the tower ,he used his magic to fix the bridge that was destroyed in his battle with the comet fox , then continued down the large tunnel, passing several more even larger than the first ,until he reached a large staircase, that led up to main entrance of the tomb.

As he exited the tomb he covered his eyes so they could adjust to the brighter light of the setting evening sun, as he went down the rocky crimson hill right into the windy desert and back towards the city in front of it ,the city of Noor.

 The city was resembled most of the other desert city's, but also ,Unlike other desert city's, it was located at the border between the ghiat desert that took up most of dakani, and the rocky plains and valleys of dalrak.

Now pass it's obelisk and it's giant grey walls of stone, stood mostly dozens of grey box shaped house's ,stacked close to each other going up a grey and sandy hill , and each house was engraved with several glowing stones, so at night they made the entire city light up like one giant lantern.

Though At the higher levels stood the elite's of the city as well as the royal's who's mansions and palaces were crowned with domes ,but azir was not such, as he followed an alleyway at the edge of the wall's until he reached his home a small house.. ,not the smallest one but the most average.

"Aliah, I've returned from the tomb"he said as he opened his door .

But there was no one in his living room

"Is anyone home..hello.?"he continued as he wandered around the house, 

"on the roof "someone answered.

So he went up stairs to the roof.

As he opened the door a woman in a purple dress with long black hair and her face covered in a purple veil stood there stearing at the sky.

"welcome back"she said in a calm but also kind voice as she looked at azir 

"What.. are you doing up here?"azir asked

"Nothing.. nothing at all"she replied

"Huh..!"

"You're here earlier than I expected,i hope the guardian did not give you any trouble"she said

"No way, I told you, i am not loosing to that fox a second time"azir replied with a satisfied look

"Well you kept your word"Aliah said and you could tell she was smiling by the look of her eyes as they both went downstairs.

"So was it there.. did you find what you were looking for,?"

What do you think !"azir replied as he pulled out a iron ring from his bag

"Well....,is that it !?" aliah said with confusion.

"to be honest I expected it to look..., different"aliah remarked.

"How so?"

"Well it's completely.. underwhelming, plus it's magic seems to be very low"said aliah.

"Don't worry about that , besides i am very sure it has really powerful magic, otherwise a guardian wouldn't have been placed guarding it"said azir.

"Well if you say so".

"Oh and I also brought some of the treasure i found, the other adventurers are definitely going to be angry at themselves for not joining me"azir said with a grin.

They continued their talk till later that evening.

"Well i better get some sleep tonight ,I will test the ring tomorrow ,maybe i will find something stronger than the fox at the tomb"azir said as he went into the other room.

" azir ,wait a moment, i forgot to tell you something, Mr ghimr asked if you could meet him at the gates"said aisha

"What, that old man, why ?"azir replied.

"I don't know ,he said something about finding a night sword"

"Well if he found it why did he not come here".

"I don't know, maybe he does not have it on hand and needs help to retrieve it, aisha remarked

"Well that is odd,if he needs my help with a hunt he must be getting old!,l mean what would we be fighting against,a true K...

*KNOCK *KNOCK*

Before azir could finish his words both of them heard someone knocking at the door.

"I wonder who could be knocking at the door this late"azir said with an annoyed look

"Hello, azir are you home?"said the person

Azir opened the door to find a man with orange hair and eyes wearing a blue shirt.

"Well, it took you long enough to answer the door!"the man said in a rude fashion.

"who are you?"azir asked

"What ,you do not remember me?

"Not at all,no"azir replied.

" it's me kalif ,we met last week we were both hired by the ashwarl to defeat that sand walker, remember"the man remarked

"Ahh... ,..i do not remember you.., so goodbye now"azir said as he tried to close the door...., but suddenly he stopped.

"Wait..... a moment, you are that man who owes me for defeating that sand walker"he realized as he angrily grabbed onto the man's shirt.

"There is no time for that now.., all adventurers in the city have been called to the outside wall's"kalif said to dodge the question.

"What for.. ?"

"I don't know, i was also summoned by darr and he was as well ,you will have to go there to find out, that is what I intend to do"kalif said as he left.

"sigh..What a pain this is!,fine then, ... aliah I'll return shortly azir said as he grabbed his sword and bag and left.

Aliah did not say anything but she seemed concerned for some reason..., she then got up and returned to the roof ..,But as azir left his home a shadowy figure can be seen watching.

When azir reached the gate he was met with the city's guard's other adventurers, about a hundred or more.

"ahh..It seems all the adventurers of noor are here" azir said

"Oh azir ,so you were also called"said another adventurer

"So what is it!,why was I called here this late?".

"Well apparently the city's obelisk has been triggered and something is approaching from the east, something big".

"Seriously now..sigh..,Well What is it, what does it look like?".

"I don't know but it should be here very s...".

Before he could finish that sentence it emerged from behind the desert dune, and it was right above them, and it was a sight to behold.
