YVAINE'S POV

I was calming my heart before I knock on his door and when I did, nobody answered. I knock again but still no answer. They told me that I went to argue with him and he ended up losing his patience and discovered that a bug was planted on me. Hindi ko naman kasalanan kung bakit na sa akin yun, pero I did argue with him. Those bugs will intensify your emotions towards someone from the last moment before it activates. And I was mad at him last night, which triggers the bug's effect. Mad at what? For him looking at me with a thoughts on my mind that he might think the same as everyone else. I know now that I was wrong about that...I just knew that somehow behind those steel like expressions he still cares.

I pressed my head against the door and began to speak. "I know that you're also concern of the situation but it's not my fault that I was being controlled by those bugs. Yes I know what those bugs do but I'm...I'm just afraid that you might judge me like they all did. That's the reason why I'm mad at you last night. Triggered by the bug, I might have make you mad. I'm sorry. " I shed some tears and wipe them all immediately.

I didn't heard anything else after I spoke. It's just my breathings and my thumping heart that I kept hearing. Maybe he needs more time to think this all through. And with that I left and went to my room. Texted my friends that I won't be going and slept again afterwards.

Pagkagising ko it's already four in the afternoon. I washed my face again and went straight to the balcony. From there I saw Himari staring at the skies.

"Tagal na mula nung huli ah."

She take a glimpse of me before staring back at the skies. "Yeah it's been so long since the last. I still remember how you cried when you know that I am leaving with wounds still intact."

"I'm still a cry baby aren't I?"

"Mhm oo pero nakikita kong nagbabago ka na. Wag ka lang iiyak ulit pag aalis ako ah? Baka d ako makatulog sa gabi kakatawa sa pag-iyak mo."

Hinapas ko sya sa braso bago sumabay sa pagtawa nya.

Nakarinig ako ng pagbukas ng pinto sa likuran namin, I was hoping it was him. And I guess it right." Azriel. " Tawag ko sa kanya na sya namang d nya pinansin. I was about to walk at him when the wind gently brush his hair showing his eyes. His green eyes. I froze and admire them for a while.

"Oh I think he calmed down."

"What do you mean?"

Himari patted my shoulder before jumping out of the window. I take a deep courage before following him in the attic. Hoping that he'll let me talk.

"Azriel ok ka na ba?" I watched him standing beside the window of the attic.

"Oo." matipid nyang sagot.

"Gusto mo bang kumain? Alam kong d karin kumain kanina. Sasamahan kita sa labas kung gusto mo. Libre ko nadin." My heart is already thumping wild.

"Ayaw kong lumabas."

Anti-social? Uhm what else could I do? Argh Yvaine think ok?! An idea sprouted out of my mind. "Kung gusto mo lutuan kita?"

"Wag nalang. D pa ko gutom." Then his stomach growled. He turned red and look away even more.

I cover my mouth as I giggled. I stop myself before he goes mad again. "Ok magluluto na ko." I hurriedly went down and tie my hair up and started to rummage the cabinets looking for something I can cook. I found six remaining eggs and four big potatoes then I remember that there's still loaves in the fridge. I started to heat the pan and start to cook all the things I find. It took me a while to cook them all up and I know he's waiting for me already.

I was ready to take it all up when he comes down. "Gusto mo bang dito nalang?"

He nodded and sit on the chair. I put the foods on the table and he stared at it for a minute before looking at me. "Whats this?"

"Food? Fries and egg sandwich?"

He just shrugged his shoulders before taking a bite on the fries. "Won't you gonna help me to finish this all?" He said while munching the fries.

"Ah sandali lang tatawagi-"

Himari camed as fast as a lightning. "Woah egg sandwich!!!" she grabbed two egg sandwiches before shoving the first one on her mouth.

Azriel didn't bother to look, so I started to eat as well.

"Himari nasan si Natasha?" Tanong ni Azriel.

She gulped before answering. "Nasa labas."

"Ah sige."

"Did you just called her Natasha?" Himari asked while pointing the fork at him.

"Oo. Yun lang ang sabi nya na itawag ko sa kanya eh."

Her eyebrows met as she analyzes his answers. "I don't think I can just call her by her name. She'll throw me out."

No response from Azriel. Just a dead silence.

"Ahaha ok uhm so mind if I squeeze in?" I interrupted before they started to go nuts. "I already know Tita Natasha and Himari's identity, how about you tell yours Azriel."

"What do you think?"

"It's a yes?"

"No. What do you think I am?"

"Do you mean who?"

He rolled his eyes.

"Ok uhm well what are you?" I asked him again.

"Guess."

He's getting annoying this time.

"A magician?" I responded without even thinking thoroughly. Then I remember it's the same words I use when I first met tita Natasha.

He laughed sarcastically before stopping and getting his face closer to mine. "A magician without magic is nothing but a clown. A joke, something far from being magical like magicians. Though it's not the right term for those who uses real magic. Mages. That's much better. But I'm not one of them. Just like the clown I am nothing. "

I gasped for air thankfully he sit back on his chair but his eyes still locked on mine."Then can you tell me what happend to you earlier?"

He stopped and lean on the chair with arms crossed. "Don't bother. It's not important."

I feel a little rage inside of me and still try to keep that calm running. "If it bothers you so much then it is important. Look I don't want you to feel lonely while you're here. It is something I learned from tita Natasha."

Nothing change from his expression. "You don't have to know me. Consider this as our last talk."

He stand up and was about to leave when I blocked his way. "It won't be our last talk. Hindi pwede at lalong d ako papayag!"

He lightly hit my forehead and smiled devilishly. "Then behave yourself."

I pulled his chair and climbed on it so I would be taller than him. "Oh yeah then try to stop me!"

He pulled the chair at him and I nearly crashed down on the floor, buti nalang kumapit agad ako sa sandalan. Naiirita narin ako sa inaaaal nya, d ko alam kung gano ka lalim ang inis nya sakin. Ako na ang nagpakumbaba at lahat-lahat pero bakit ganito parin sya?

"Fine little pup. Now get down from that chair and behave yourself already. You're too painful in the ass."

"I am not your darn puppy!!!" Hinahampas ko sya sa magkabilaang braso nya hanggang sa dahan-dahan na syang makalayo sakin at bumalik sa loob ng kwarto nya. "Pag lumabas ka ulit dyan sisiguraduhin kong magkaka rabies ka na!" I get down on the chair and take it back to the table before putting the plates on the sink.

"Well that was wild."

I forgot that Himari is still there.

"He's the one who's pain in the ass." I added.

"Looks like you lose...I don't know."

I pouted at her. "Kinakampihan mo ba sya?"

"I never said I did." She smirked.

Sa ngayon d ko na alam kung ano pa ang kailangan kong gawin. Mukha namang ok na sya pero grabe naman yung mga pangaasar nya. D na nakakatuwa.

AZRIEL'S POV

I didn't know what happened earlier this morning but I'm sure my emotions heated up as soon as I noticed the bug corrupting her. I remember how that bug destroyed everything. How that bug killed someone. And how that bug almost made me a monster. Mula nung araw nayun kahit na hindi pa ko isang ganap na mage, I can detect those little bastards when they intensify their victim's emotions. I never thought that those bugs could really turn up something big. Something that haunts me till now.
