The Other Woman

There was never really a 'right time' to bring up difficult topics of conversation. It was why so many people left things unsaid. Letting problems fester and eat away at them. Preferring to endure the pain of silence rather say what was really bothering them.

It was something Nico knew he too was guilty of from time to time. But holding Gianna close, watching the morning light dance over her skin. His hand over the tiny bump where their baby was. Nico decided it was time to share with her something he had never willingly shared with another human being.

When it came to secrets, Gianna no longer had any that could be damaging to him. He was certain of that. But given all that had transpired. Plus the fact that he had promised not to take the baby from her. She needed to know why he had gone to such an extreme in the first place.
