=Storm POV

We were trekking back to Enchanting Club when I received a call. I answered it without delay and was greeted with information that piqued my interest.

"Storm, the target made a move again and managed to sneak drugs in our club through the same customer. However, we didn't get a glimpse of him when we captured the customer.", informed Dominic from the line.

"Did you interrogate that customer?" I asked calmly in return.

"I did. According to the customer, they met at the forest nearby."

"And?"

Dominic sighed. "That's all. He knows nothing about them."

"He's useless to me. Kill him." I ordered, gritting my teeth.

"You sure?" When he heard no response from me, he concluded, "Got it."

I quickly ended the call and faced the curious duo— Marcus and Reynald. They didn't initiate to ask me because they knew I won't talk if I didn't feel like it.

"The target is in this forest." I coldly announced.

"You mean Mr Skinny?" Reynald asked for confirmation.

Before I could nod, Marcus spoke up, a little annoyed, "Fool, why bother asking? You knew it already."

Reynald gave Marcus a sharp glimpse but didn't bother to argue with him. He asked me instead, "Shall we go search for him?"

"Cut the crap. Time to make a move." Marcus butt in and without waiting for my further instructions, he began trailing the trail that we left earlier.

For some reason, I didn't object and made a move as well.

We didn't consume much time to be able to go further inside the forest.

As we began searching, I found something… I think… even more interesting.

That woman earlier actually got off the bus and chased after us. That was what I thought at first. So, I hid behind a tree from a distance, somewhat irritated by the woman's stubbornness.

I knitted my brows as I watched her and noticed her crying.

'What is she crying about? Oh, it's that necklace again.' I thought. 'How sentimental. Such a hypocrite.'

"What are you watching at?" Reynald suddenly appeared behind me. I didn't know what had gotten on me but I hauled him next to me as I shut him a threatening glare, something that I only used when I wanted something to remain hidden or secret. That made him frown. "So mysterious."

I ignored him after and watched the lady again. Out of curiosity, Reynald joined scouting to the spot I was looking at attentively.

At that point, we witnessed her falling badly on the ground, her pain, and her frustration.

"Storm, she sprained her ankle. We have to help her." Reynald proposed to me which received another threatening glare from me. "Why can't we?"

"She doesn't deserve help." I commented.

"She's just a woman. She did nothing wrong. What reason makes her undeserving?"

"It's exactly because she's a woman that she doesn't deserve any help or pity." I coldly said. "Reynald, do I have to remind you about something?"

"I—" Reynald couldn't find his voice to answer me at this point.

"Don't do something, you hear me? Unless I ask you."

Reynald responded to me with silence.

I returned my attention to the woman and was again greeted with a spectacular show.

'What a day.' I thought.

A skinny man with an injured head sauntered towards her, infuriated. He had that evil desire written all over his ugly face.

I could clearly foretell what was going to happen next.

Just like how I anticipated, the man pounded on her, and they grappled as she tried to resist while crying for help.

"Storm, this is no fun. That bastard is going to a$$ault her. We must save her.", said Reynald and attempted to dash over.

But before he could take a second step, I spoke in an eerie tone, "Who asked you to save her?"

"Storm, she doesn't deserve this."

I gave him a warning look, and asked, "Are you teaching me now?"

"No, but—"

"Are you guys arguing?" Marcus interrupted us at the right time.

Reynald groaned. "A woman's future is about to be ruined. But Storm doesn't want to do anything."

"Who's woman?", asked Marcus and peered ahead. "Oh, oh! Am I seeing it right? Isn't that the annoying girl on the bus?"

"Yeah." Reynald confirmed. "And I think we have to save her in return for the favor of robbing her stuff. What do you think, Storm?"

As usual, I didn't respond. I took my gun out and made my way towards the crime. It was the moment that the ugly man got to tear her dress.

I tiptoed towards them in order to not to alarm him, with a strange feeling surging through my heart like a tidal wave that I couldn't explain.

I just felt aggrieved upon seeing her clothes being torn, meanwhile, somewhat disgusted.

I quickened my steps before it's too late and aimed my gun on the ugly man's head as I summoned him to stand up, "Rise or else you'll die."

The pervert immediately froze from doing the activity.

I poked the muzzle hard on his temple and warned him as I observed that he was still not making a move, "I don't want to repeat myself. Raise your hands and do it slowly."

The pervert raised his hands as I asked and gradually rose on his feet. By then, I simply gestured my head to Marcus and Reynald, and they immediately held him captive.

"Who are you?" The pervert asked me.

"Shut up, you don't deserve to know his name." Marcus twisted his arm a little and kicked the pervert by his right leg, so he was forced to kneel down.

I coldly stare at the pervert's eyes and called him by his nickname, "Nice meeting you, Mr Skinny."

Shock overtook Marcus and Reynald's faces while Mr Skinny was eaten with fear.

"He is Mr Skinny?", asked Marcus. Still, I didn't answer him.

I crouched before the woman and met her pleading eyes.

"M-my necklace, give it back to me. I- I beg you." She managed to utter as several drops of tears streamed down from her eyes, and that enraged me to the core.

I clenched my teeth under the mask and rose up as I ordered the two, "Let's hit the road."

"How about her?", asked Reynald.

I shut the woman a sideways glance and said, "Don't bother me with nobody."

Saying that, I walked to Reynald and hooked my index finger in his old coat's pocket and tugged it twice, which made Marcus draw a confused look on his face, but not Reynald.

He quickly took it off and handed it to me. And though I didn't want to, I faced the woman again.

I crouched next to her and covered the coat properly and proportionately to her. Since she was small, the coat almost covered her entire body.

After that, I stood and walked past them without saying anything else.

They simply understood it and so they tailed me without asking anything as well, dragging Mr Skinny with them.
