She had been there for a while crying while he watched her from afar. He felt angered by what he was seeing and pondered over why she could not see him, he whom had been there always supporting her all these months. Was she that daft minded, he felt pained really as he knew his feelings for her were nothing short of genuine. He loved her so much. He could no longer bare to see her crying herself to sickness, thus, he walked over to her. She had not even heard him approach and he knew within him that this was definitely not the right time to begin judging her over her inability to get over her ex boyfriend. She was obviously going through a really tough time and all he wanted was an opening to show her what true love feels like. He did not want to have to keep competing against the other guy in her heart.
He handed her an handkerchief when she raised her head finally, she took it with trembling hands. Jonathan went over and sat down beside her, he still was not saying anything. He sat close to her, his arms folded across his chest as he watched her dab her face frantically with the piece of fabric. He was just calm and compose, allowing her exhaust herself and then, she might be ready to go home. In his head, he had made up his mind that henceforth, he was no longer going to do much of talking. Instead, he was going to show her by his actions that he actually meant well for her. She stared at him again looking rather guilt stricken and pained. He could not figure out what exactly she was feeling but he could tell she was obviously tired and heartbroken.
He wondered, what exactly had the guy told her to put her in such a state of ruckus.
"I'm sorry Jonathan... I'm really sorry, I shouldn't have checked on him... I shouldn't have... I should have listened to you.. But I was foolish... I was stupid.. I... I.. I was such a fool", she said admist sobs as fresh tears began pouring out of her eyes. He drew her into his arms quickly. He patted her head which was placed on his chest.
"It's okay Bella, it's not your fault okay? ",he said to her patting her head as her tears wet his shirt. By the time she was composed, his shirt was already spotting evidences of wetness. A really big one.
"Let us go home ",he said to her leading her by the hand to the car. She followed him calmly as they headed home.
Jay Martins had been confused when he received that call. He had recently had his phone fixed but somehow, every single contact had been wiped out. He felt really angry but then, the operator had been able to prove somehow that he had no hand in it. Thus, his plan to figure out things through the phone crashed. He was actually about going inside from his morning run when he got that call. The doctor had advised that he does so, as the pressure might assist his memory. That's when he took his phone and picked the call. The caller was a female and she called him by his name. Something about her voice seemed rather too familiar but he could not place what that was, that was when he had demanded to know who that was, she gasped in surprise and hung up.
He began screaming 'hello' but she had hung up already. He actually felt angry but then it happened. That gasp was so familiar and the voice too. He had heard it somewhere before. He suddenly heard this tingling sound in his head and a really sharp pain across his head, he held on to his head. His phone fell off his hands and landed on the floor with a loud crash.
Pictures started streaming across his mind as he began to feel hazy. His vision clouded and became rather blurry. That was when he fell. He could make out what seemed like feet, rushing over to him, the world became still and he closed his eyes.
