CHAPTER 8

Isabella got down from the taxi and paid her fare. The taxi driver thanked her and sped down the road. The storm was getting heavier but Isabella didn't care. She was about to open the glass door when someone grabbed her arm. It was Liam Russell.

AN HOUR AGO:

Liam got into his car and drove off from the hospital. His car moving fast on the highway as his chest became tight

"what's wrong with me". Liam asked himself as images of Isabella and Adam lingered in his mind.

ring!ring!

"hello, leo what's the problem". Liam asked

"come to my office immediately". Leo said and hung up.

Meanwhile in Leo's office a woman walked in wearing a tight coral dress as black heels.

"long time no see young master Kendrick". Emma greeted as she dropped her bag moving towards Leo trying to unbutton his shirt when leo stopped her.

"enough Emma". Leo said angrily and pushed her.

"what's wrong babe". Emma asked in seductive tone.

"stop this now and get out, you're already engaged to Darien Russell" Leo ask getting pissed.

"but I want you and not Darien, he can't even satisfy me". Emma said about to touch Leo's d**k when Liam barged in.

"what the fuck are you doing here Emma".Liam asked angrily.

"Liam you see I came to visit Leo since I was in the neighborhood but since you are here I will leave".Emma smiled,took her bag and left before Liam could response.

"what's going on Leo". Liam asked staring daggers at him.

"mmmh, Emma was my girlfriend". Leo blurted out.

"what how could you?, she's my brother's fiancee". Liam said

"yeah I know she's my ex, I broke up with her a month ago and she suddenly ran to another man which was your brother, she only likes your brother for his money that's all, you need to believe me Liam ". Leo spoke with teary eyes.

"bro it's okay I believe you". Liam said patting his friend's back.

"I was also on my way to see you". Liam said and sat down.

"what's wrong I hope no problem ". Leo asked.

"you see there's a lady who I met recently". Liam started.

"OMG!, is she pretty". leo asked smiling

"kind of".Liam. replied and continued

"I kind of feel weird when I see her get close to other men". he said and let out a sigh.

"I think you're jealous". Leo laughed.

"jealous how but I don't even like her".Liam argued.

"that's love at first sight but anyway you wouldn't be able to know whether your feelings are genuine unless you tell her.

"sorry but that's not gonna happen, I'm Liam Russell and can't bring myself low to chase after a girl who's even afraid of me and besides I'm busy ". Liam spoke.

"it your choice but don't come crying to me when she goes to another man". leo laughed

"then what should I do". Liam asked

"now you're talking, fight for love and make her yours". leo said and suddenly he became sober.

"what's wrong".Liam asked noticing his change of mood.

"I fought for love but she ended up going to another man". Leo said as tears fell from his eyes.

"it's Emma right, she doesn't deserve your love their are many people out there, okay cheer up".
