Ewan opened his eyes in surprise, not expecting Zac to have accumulated nearly 1 million Lunar Pennies in less than 3 weeks!
'How did he manage that? Did he rob a bank by any chance?' Ewan wondered.
Zac had considered the possibility of using his skills to rob a bank. But it would be dangerous to steal from banks. Institutions like that had many ways to monitor the money leaving their vaults or machines, and it was difficult for anyone to access that much cash these days.
With virtual money, banks handled less and less cash, which made bank robbery more difficult and less interesting.
Another point was that, morally speaking, Zac preferred to steal from thugs, especially the more violent ones, like the men from The Moths.
