Isabella

Papà falls asleep once more after a few minutes. He is only awake for less than an hour and a nurse comes back to make sure that is comfortable when he is sleeping by covering him properly and adjusting his head. When she leaves, I turn to Dante.

"I talked to his doctor and confirmed that he can be transfered to another hospital in Sicily. I want him to be close so that you can easily visit him as he undergoes his last week of treatment. He still needs medical attention and it wouldn't be advisable for him to be treated home yet though that is what I would have personally preferred," he says, holding my hand once again. I look into his eyes, unable to fathom the kind of goodness in Dante's heart. Anyone could easily judge him from his carrier and appearance, but he is so good at heart. I feel so lucky to be his fiance. I will try my best to be the best wife for him.

"Thank you," I say to him.

"Don't mention it," he cuts me off.
