After all that the next thing Cayetana read was her mother's letter to her father, there were a lot of things that finally started to make sense to her, and all of the questions she had were finally answered, as a kid Cayetana had always known that her father didn't have a first-hand connection to her mother's death, but she knew he played a part in it, she knew her mother was suicidal that's why she followed her the day she died, but what she saw was her death, there was something in her that told her that her mother had a hand in her own death, but the denial in her always refused to believe it so she blamed it on what was seen on the naked eye. Her father killed her mother

"Cayetana…, Cayetana" Damon called her name, and she was gone. Her mind was blank

"Yes?" she answered father a while

"Let's go home," Damon said and smiled at her

"Yeah, let's go home" Cayetana agreed and stood up

"We are not done yet, you still have to read my mom's letter

"I've read enough for today, this is all over, let's meet in better circumstances next time," Cayetana said

She said goodbye to the lawyer then she and her husband left together in peace

A few days passed, nobody spoke about the letter and nobody asked anything

Things were normal, well that's what Cayetana wanted Damon to believe, but he knew how much she cried after they returned, he knew how she left their room at night just to go cry herself out, he knew about the night walks she took whenever it rained, she believed that only the evil visited when it rained, but at that point, she didn't wether the evil was her mother or was it her father. Maybe it was both

"So you're pregnant?" Axel asked and Cayetana nodded

The group had decided to meet up just to catch up and check on the couple and that's when they got the news of Cayetana's pregnancy

"Who's the father?" Robin asked

"Fuck you," Damon said and kissed his teeth which made everyone laugh

"Are you sure he's not the pregnant one with his mood swings?" Kearan asked

"You know what? You two need to pipe the fuck down" Damon said

"Yes, don't talk to my husband like that," Cayetana said

"Of course, you're gonna take his side, but congratulations princess, you did amazing," Kearan said and kissed her hand

"Yes you did very well" Axel said and smiled at her
