To say I was angry that she kept the Black Rose secret for me would be dramatic, but I was angry, angry that I was not good enough to be someone she trusted

We were now at a hotel in our room and she was looking at me with guilt written all over her eyes

"Are you angry?" she asked

The phone started ringing and it was Ezra, finally

"How did they know we would be coming to Mexico?" I asked
