"This is a family issue," My stepmother asked when Damon asked what we were going on about. It was as if she forgot that Damon was now my husband

"I am Cayetana's husband am I not?" Damon asked

"Of course you are, but this is beyond you," my father said

"I believe that know my wife better than all of you so whatever involves her involves me," Damon said and though I couldn't see his face, I could feel how unrespected he felt

"You're acting as if my sister is some kid he needs you to be there with her husband to be next to her every single minute" Clover said and that was definitely not it. I completely understood where Damon was coming from and I appreciated that he cared for me

"You got it wrong, I'm like a dog that is willing to risk everything to keep its master safe, so be careful what you say. Only because you are half-related to my wife doesn't mean I have a soft spot for you. In fact, you all seem to have forgotten who I am. Do you all need to be reminded that you are talking to Damon Santiago!" He yelled the last sentence, yes he was angry.

"Damon, calm down," I said to him calmly

"Mother, father as I said, I will not be talking about the will at all and also Damon and I will be moving out tomorrow" I continued with the conversation

"How could you leave before Father's birthday?" Clover asked clearly annoyed

"I will be here for his birthday, after all, I still need to give him his birthday present after all, but we have decided to go to our own house here, our habits are getting on your nerves after all," I said and smiled at the end

"Don't smile, it makes me jealous" Damon whispered into my ear

"Just leave it, move out as soon as you want to, but don't forget to be here for my birthday," my father said and walked away. Making the two ladies follow him

"Should we get going then?" Damon asked

"Where" I asked

"Can't we go tomorrow?" I asked
