Chapter 17 Fight in the dance hall part- 2

Olivia stood there, staring at the three guys on the floor. They had contusions in their faces, blood coming out of their noses and lips. Their clothes were torn apart in several places. They no longer appeared dangerous.

Olivia wanted to beat them. How dare they touch her inappropriately?

"You filthy scumbags... How could you put your hands on me?" she screamed, charging towards them with a frightening speed.

She was ready to kick Tony, who had dared to kiss her, but Vincent yanked her arm and pulled her back before she could reach him.

“Leave me… I want to knock him. Let me go.”

“Enough...” Vincent grunted coldly.

"Olivia..." Meanwhile, Willa rushed over. She hugged her and asked, “Are you okay? These men didn’t do anything to you, did they?”

Olivia affirmed, "I am OK."

“Olivia…” It was only then that Danish rose to his feet and approached her. “I am so sorry… I couldn’t do anything to protect you.”

He reached out to touch her face, but Vincent blocked him.

“You shouldn't have brought her here if you were unable to protect her,” he stated firmly in his alpha tone. Then his attention shifted to Willa, “Can you take him to the hospital?”

Willa nodded, “Yes… but…”

“Then take him away,” Vincent didn’t allow her to speak.

Danish was ashamed. He couldn’t look into Olivia’s eyes. Hanging his head down, he walked away with Willa. Vincent and Olivia also came out shortly after they left.

But Olivia suddenly sat on the floor, crossing her legs. Vincent ceased his steps and looked down at her with a scowl on his face. He had enough for the day and had used up his patience for anything else.

He frowned even harder, watching her draw something on the floor with her finger.

“Now what?” He snapped.

“I am tired,” she replied and lifted her eyes to him. “I want you to give me a piggyback ride.”

“What? Have you lost your mind?” Vincent exclaimed.

She pouted and said, “I mean it. Those men held me so tight... my entire body hurts. Give me a piggyback ride, please.”

She made a puppy look with her hands outstretched to him, fluttering her long eyelashes.

Vincent was speechless. He stared at her with a squint. Incredulity was all he had in his eyes. He didn't know whether she was playing or whether it was because of alcohol. Whatever it was, it annoyed him. He grasped her arm and pulled her up.

“What are you doing? Let go of me.”

He dragged her out of the club without caring about her protest.

“Vincent, you moron,” she yelled and pulled her arm back.

Vincent glared at her, wrath building up within his stomach.

She also leveled the glare and stated fiercely, “Do you know how heartless you are? You don’t know how to treat a woman. And now I know why you are single so far. You can’t get a girl with this attitude.”

She dashed out, fuming in anger. However, her wrath dissipated instantly when she saw the rain pouring at a moderate speed. Her lips curled up gradually as she ran out.

Vincent also came out with a frown on his face and found her twirling under the rain. He grimaced, flailing his arms in the air.

“This woman is a headache. What am I supposed to do with her? He muttered, gnashing his teeth.

Olivia raised her eyes to the sky, allowing the rain to fall on her face. It was invigorating. The intoxication of the alcohol started fading gradually. She was so lost enjoying the rain that she didn’t notice a car passing by her speedily. The muddy water splashed all over her when the wheels rolled over the puddle.

Olivia froze instantaneously, mouth agape. Her hands were still in the air. Raindrops with muddy water cascaded down her face.

“Ewe…” Her expression turned ugly when she saw her dress stained with mud. It was so disgusting.

Then her eyes turned towards the rapidly escaping car.

“Fuck you, bastard. You rascal, dickhead..." she started cursing with all the bad words she knew.

Vincent couldn't hold his laughter. The anger in his mind waned by now. Olivia looked funny in her current condition. He shook his head and rushed towards her.

“I will kill you if you come in front of me…” she was still yelling.

“Enough… calm down. Let's get in the car." Vincent reached out to hold her hand.

She pulled her hand back and shouted, retreating a bit. “It is all because of you.”

“Excuse me...” He watched her with a squint.

“Yes, you heard it correctly. You are responsible for this,” she retorted.

“You left me alone. You didn’t pay attention to me. If you had stayed with me, I would never have danced with Danish, and those bad men would not have hovered over me. I wouldn't have come out in the rain and that car couldn't have splashed water on me.”

She cast a burning gaze upon him, her chest moving up and down rapidly.

Vincent was not angry with Olivia. Her outburst amused him. He couldn’t conceal the faint smile on his face, which added to her wrath.

“What are you laughing for? Is this funny to you? Ah…”

Before she could finish speaking, he lifted her in his arms horizontally and proceeded towards the car.
