Penelope looks for her son all around the castle but couldn't find him,she searched through all the rooms but still couldn't find Luca.

"Luca..." Penelope Luca's mother called out,A 10years old Luca came running to his mother.

"Luca,how many times have I warned you not to go running and playing around?,you are the future leader of this pack,how do you intend to learn how to rule your people when all you do is play"

"Mama,I'm not a baby anymore, I do not even wish to be a king,please talk to father and tell father to give me a brother so I can travel around,you know I love being adventurous,I want to be as free as a bird" Luca said with his puppy look.

"Luca,you have to understand as you aren't getting any younger, your mother and I are unable to sire more children, leaving us to no other choice but you to take the throne " Luca's father who overheard the discussion while entering his Luna's room replied his only son and child.

"Father, I really don't want to be a leader" Luca replied.

"Listen my son,a lot of people are eyeing the throne because I'm losing my powers,the only way to secure the throne is you, your Uncle Sam has been trying to overthrow me for years before we were blessed with a son,so you my dear son have to be brave and courageous" Bryan explains to his son

The discussion goes on and all of a sudden noise erupted from outside, Luca's father leaves his family to see the source of the noise only to be met by his half-brother's blade,he wasn't as strong as before so he couldn't heal and the blade has been soaked in wolfsbane which is poisonous to Lycans,he couldn't move nor talk,he was paralyzed at the spot, he tried moving but his blood was fast draining so he died right there holding his half-brother's leg.

Luca's mother waited for her husband but when she didn't see him,she decided to go and check outside. Luca's mother told him to stay behind while she goes out to see what's going on, getting outside she had met her husband the Alpha of Whitemore pack murdered in cold blood.

"Aaaahhhh!" she screamed as the assassin killed her also right at the spot.

Luca who heard the noise and peeped through the door hole, unknown to them little Luca was watching he shouted when he witnessed his parents death and was captured,it turns out it's Sam Luca's Uncle who wants to usurp the throne.

Little Luca was dragged to the throne room where Eliza his uncle's wife who is known as the wicked witch is standing with her long staff.

"Leave him Sam, he's useless to us" she told her husband.

"No Eliza, he's a Lycan and will grow with his powers to come and claim his throne one day" Sam replied.

"Then I shall rid him of his powers,he shall have no power unless he finds a mate, meanwhile he shall never come across his mate in his lifetime" Eliza placed a curse on Luca, thunderstorm started sealing the curse and Luca fainted.
