The skin walker

"I just need a little more time, five months at best." The voice of a beautiful blonde-haired man echoed through the silent dark eerie room with little lighting filled with imposing figures sitting elegantly with dark gloomy faces staring down staring keenly at him, each twelve rows comprised of at least 15 seats before an inserted horizontal aisle to allow for proper ingress and regress.

Gazing down at the man with serious faces were the most powerful, feared, and revered organization in the lycan world, 'the council' and standing before them with a calm and composed expression was the infamous elder Alexander who had received an urgent call from his assistant a few hours ago that he was being summoned by the council to address an important pressing issue, Leonard Donavan.

"He is dangerous Alex, I hear his power grows even more frightening by the day, it's safe to assume it would get to a time his power might even supersede yours, we can't have someone as dangerous as that become the next absolute alpha, we have to kill him now before it becomes too late, you are powerful enough to do it, why hesitate?." one of the council members, an old man by appearance seemingly in his late sixties with a bald head and a pair of translucent round sunglasses voiced out his opinion with a serious gaze.

"sir Alphonse is right, fusion of both species a lycan and a witch hasn't been heard of before until now, babies born from such union die at birth, he possesses far too great of a threat to our race Alex, he has Donavan blood running through his veins and also that of a powerful witch, I don't understand why you keep prolonging your duty to end him, don't you ever think he might one day align himself with the witches and subjugate all lycans under the witches rule just like it had happened in the past?." came a soft feminine voice of a black haired lady with green eyes, her face although delicate and soft her demeanor and aura nonetheless were dominative and imposing.

"It wouldn't come to that, it's as I said Antonia I just need a few months, after that, I'll kill him without hesitation, without regret," Alexander spoke firmly to the woman seated at the front roll seat.

"Why do you request extra time Alex? what do you plan to do with him?." came another masculine voice from the back row seat

"I cannot say, not now at least, but I assure you it is something that would be of great benefit to us, it might us defeat the skinwalker when she returns."

"PREPOSTEROUS!" some of the council members screamed out in unison enraged by Alexander's utterances, the skinwalker was a notorious witch able to transform herself into any animal she desired who was defeated and sealed a long time ago over thousands of years by the original Morbius and the second lycan shifter in history Luke Donavan, to mention or utter the name skinwalker was a taboo in the lycan race as the witch was not only feared but was also the witch responsible for cursing Morbius which in turn transformed him into a shape-shifting beast a Lycanthrope.

"It's not preposterous." Alexander retorted with a piercing gaze unfazed by the series of uproar and muttering he had caused in the council room.

"The seer prophesied it, and we all know Sabrina is never wrong, her prophesies always comes to pass, lately we have also been seeing the signs of her return, blood red sky every five months followed by drizzling ashes, we are yet to see more," he spoke firmly which made the council room turn completely silent as a graveyard as they all reflected on Alexander's words which held some truth.

"Elder Morbius was greatly weakened after their intense battle and Luke Donavan is dead, who do you think is going to protect us against the skinwalker? you may be right that the skinwalker might never return, but what if she does?, how would we protect ourselves?, wouldn't it be better to arm and prepare ourselves for an event that might happen rather than be taken by surprise?." he added leading to a series of muttering and mumbling around the council room as the members conversed on Alexander's words with a whispery tone and after a few more minutes Alphonse finally broke the muttering sounds.

"All in favor of granting Alexander an extra month, three to be precise raise your hands," he spoke firmly, after a few more seconds arms were raised which outnumbered the ones that weren't.

They couldn't deny Alexander was right if indeed the skinwalker returns they doubt the weakened Morbius would be able to defeat her even with Alexander's help, they all knew how intelligent Alexander was, if there was anyone who could save the lycan race at the moment it was definitely Alexander, they did not know or understand how Alex planned to use Leonard in creating a weapon powerful enough to defeat the skinwalker, at this point, it didn't matter all that mattered was a victory.

"Seems you get your wish Alex," Alphonse spoke firmly with a serious gaze "I don't know what your plan is with the boy but you have just three months to complete whatever it is you plan, after that action will...no must be taken."

"That's fine by me," he said with his usual creepy smile

"Also I can't promise pack members belonging to his brother's pack won't try to kill him." a council member voiced out.

"Don't worry I'm Leon would be able to handle himself, he has survived this long hasn't he, what're three extra months right?," Alex said with a chuckle "Now that the matter has been discussed and settled I'll take my leave," he said politely with a bow before exiting the council room
