Note: I forgot to give Mia Exp for killing Eden (he was an evolved human, btw), so I changed some stuff in the previous on Mia's status window. (Level + stats)

At the Boldfury guild master, Tanos, office...

"You mean to tell me she has disappeared?!" A young and handsome brown-haired boy slammed the desk in rage. He had sharp black-colored eyes, pale white skin, and a slim but toned body.

Sigh

"Arthur, you have to understand that I have sent someone to search for her for months, and yet there has been no news. She is mostly dead by now." Tanos sighed and explained to his son. 

"Don't fuck with me! I told you to protect her while I was away, so how did this happen!?" Arthur shouted as his face turned red from fury. He didn't come back home to hear such bullshit!

"Since this has happened, I will find her myself!!" He stood up and prepared to leave to search for Mia. 

"You can't"

"Why!?" 

"Son, I know that you like that girl very much, but right now is not the time to be searching for her." 

"What do you me—-"

"Golden Serenity has declared war on us, and the battle will occur 2 weeks from now at the outskirts of NorthLeaf." He said it with the utmost seriousness.

"Huh!?" Arthur's eyes turned wide in shock. Naturally, he's aware of the existence of the guild that one day suddenly appeared out of nowhere and rose in power exponentially. The Golden Serenity's guild master, according to rumors, attained the pinnacle of the first stage of evolution in just 6 months!! A further rumor stated that in terms of attractiveness, the guild leader suppressed that of Mia, the white-haired mage girl, who was recognized as one of the prettiest girls around here. 

However, these are just rumors; no one knew if they were true or not.

"Why are they suddenly going to war with us?!" He asked in confusion. 

"They must have discovered our slaves deal with the corrupted nobles." Tanos guessed after he pondered for a little. 

For a very long time, the Boldfury Guild has been involved in shady business, including the kidnapping of humans and other humanoid races and turning them into slaves to sell to the nobles. Recently, they have become more active, which may have left some traces behind that may have exposed them. 

"So what?! They are still too arrogant! Just because they have grown in power, they thought they could defeat us!? We are one of the top guilds around here; do they think we were easy to defeat!" He snorted in ridicule.

"We can't underestimate them. If they are declaring war on us, that means that they are confident in defeating us. I don't know what trick they have up their sleeves, so right now we have to prepare ourselves for any unforeseen situation." Tanos said this and stared at his son. It's clear from his remarks that he wants him to give up on the girl. The current situation is extremely tense; there is no time for little things like searching for a missing girl. 

"Damn it!" Arthur stormed out of the office and slammed the door on his way out.

Tanos sighed and massaged his head, having a headache after dealing with his son, who is a fucking simp!

Walking out of the office, he called out to the person standing guard next to the door. "Len, I have a job for you."

"Please give me your order." The man in full iron armor, with only his head visible, kneeled, waiting to receive his job. 

"Find Mia as soon as possible." Aware he won't be able to look for her on his own as he needs to get prepared for the guild war that is coming up, he sends one of his strongest subordinates instead to search for her. It didn't matter if it was love or if he was just obsessed; after he had chased her for so long, he couldn't possibly give up on her simply because she disappeared. 

'I will definitely find you!'

On the balcony of the top floor of the Golden Serenity Guild...

A black-haired girl with a veil concealing her face was standing on a building's balcony, gazing out over the city. Her silky black tail on her back and the fluffy wolf ear on her head are two unique characteristics that identify her as a member of the wolf-human race. 

"Is everything going well?" The wolf girl spoke in a soft and gentle voice. The question seems to be directed at the other wolf girl standing behind her. 

"Yes, Master" The other wolf girl bowed and said, "Everything is going as you have planned. We just need a few more days to prepare." 

"Good, you may leave now."

The other wolf girl bowed once more, leaving her master to herself, who watched the scenery in silence. 

"Mother, soon I will be able to avenge you." She muttered and placed her left hand on top of the golden bracelet on the wrist of her right hand, stroking it gently.

Phew…

Exhaling, the flame around his body dispersed into nothingness. 

"Garw Garw" (huff... Huff...This time, I lasted much longer), Leo said while breathing heavily. After days of practicing using [Fire breathing] and meditation to train his breathing mana control, the duration in which he could use the skill has increased, and the skill itself has leveled up to level 2. 

Previously, he was only able to use the skill for a single second and perform only a single move, but now he can use it for ten seconds and perform as many moves as he likes in that time.

'Ooh, I haven't seen this for a long time'. Leo thought after seeing that his stats also increased after all this training.

Leo used to be able to raise his stats by performing regular exercises like push-ups and pull-ups, but now that his body has become considerably stronger, he is no longer able to do so.

However, now that he had awakened his mana, he could increase his stats using another method. Through consuming mana for abilities and spells, the body is put under a lot of stress, which helps the body grow and develop. Also by using mana, you are allowing your magic core to continuously absorb mana from the atmosphere to replenish the mana that has depleted. This process enables the magic core to grow so that it can absorb more mana and increase the total amount of mana you own.

"Garw Garw" (We will end our morning training here; now go do their assigned job!) Leo shouted toward all the goblins at the training ground. Since the typical non-evolved goblin lacks mana, they instead do the basic physical training exercise to raise their stats. 

""Garw !!"" (Yes!!) The goblins answered their chief and separated to do their assigned roles. 

This was the everyday routine that Leo had set for the goblins. To have these weaklings under him become actually useful to him, he had strictly prepared a training schedule that all these goblins had to follow every day. His children and Mia are not excluded from this either, as they also need to get stronger.

"Husband~ I'm so tired. Can you please carry me?" Mia, who was sitting on the floor breathing heavily and sweating, called out to him in a pleading tone. She extended her arm in his direction, gesturing for him to pick her up. 

"Garw Garw" (fine, but I am not doing this for free) He said that and walked over toward her.

"I know, so please carry me~"
