chapter seven:

Its been two months since I ever step foot near home when my mom died. I barely talked to Eddie anymore, he probably absolutely hates me and made a new best friend already. I couldn't help wonder if he did or not, but I knew it was to dangerous to tell

him our location or step foot there. I decided to meet half way, with Luca since Jeremiah was out in town.

Eddie and us met up at the mall near by at least three hours away, I left Jeremiah a note Incase he worried. Luca remembered Eddie since he use to watch him all the time before all this ever happened. So he ran up to him, and gave him a hug. Eddie was shocked at the two year olds strength. He looked at me, and at that look I knew what he was asking and I nodded and added "only for his safety, and I can't afford to lose him after mom died." Luca looked up at me and said " mommy? Where is daddy?" Eddie said "what?!" Luca looked and him again and said "mommy is here, where is daddy?" Eddie looked at me to confirm on what he heard and I nodded once again. He whispered "does he even know?" and I disagree and shook my head no, and picked up Luca and bought him a pretzel. Eddie asked so many questions, and told me to come back. All these questions made me stressed out so I just covered his mouth and said "Eddie, Listen I cant handle much anymore nowadays, but I need your help I think I am pregnant." "What no way, your a vampire, and it can't be possible". "That is only a myth." He looked at me with concern and said "did you tell him yet?" "No, I haven't." "Tell him." "I do not know Eddy." "When are you coming back to school and home?" "What home Eddy? My mother and father are both DEAD!" "what about me! and my family!?" "It is not the same." "How is it not the same!?" "You were there when I NEARLY died TWICE!" "No.." "Exactly." I didn't feel Luca's hand anymore. We both turned to Luca and he wasn't there. I panicked I began to scream his name and frantically look around.

Then I saw Jeremiah was in the play pin with him. I walked over to him, and whispered to him "babe we need to talk." "I know you left this morning!" He snapped. "Not that." "Yes that! You could of risked exposure to you! And Luca! He could of fucking to pretended to be god damn Eddie again for Christ sake!"He looked so angry. Then I looked him into his eyes and said "Jeremiah I'm pregnant." Then his eyes relaxed and the rage of anger was gone. "What?" He asked and I repeated myself. I took his hand and I put it on my stomach to feel my tiny bump. His face glowed with joy and he picked up Luca and said so happy "you're going to have a baby sister or brother!!!" He threw him up in the air and smiled so big. The near by audience clapped and congratulated me. Eddie smiled in the distance and mouthed "I told you" and walked over slowly. Then he asked jokingly "may I be the godfather?" And Jeremiah answered, "yes! I have no brothers and my cousins aren't close to me as you are. I consider you my brother anyway." We all hugged and walked around the mall. It was a great day, and good drive to home. Luca had his first ice cream cone, and he made a complete mess everywhere. He even ended up having sprinkles in his brown shaggy hair.

He looked at me and said my father and some relatives are at the house and some witches to bless our home and family. I looked at him and said "relatives?" And he said "look in the visor that's why I went out." I seen official signed off guardianship of Luca to me and Jeremiah's care from my mother. It was in her will so it could not be overruled. I smiled and took a nap on the way home, and woke up to Jeremiah pronouncing different names. "Abigail, Sabrina, Rebecca if it is a boy maybe owen, hunter? I don't know.." then he put his hand on my stomach mindlessly, and said out loud for my intention to hear "I really like the name Tobias for a boy, and a girl Payton." I just smiled and replied "Sounds great to me honey." He looked over at me, and said "Honey?" "yea your sweet like Honey and I like Honey." I replied and slowly drifted off to sleep once again.

We finally made it home. The living room and kitchen was filled with people and they were all Jeremiah's siblings, uncles, aunts, grandpas, and grandmas. "We love the sense and feeling family gives so we grow....so I have a big family all the way back to 1607. But we can't track the data back that far, because the rest were human in theory or distant family who didn't have children but adopted or nieces and nephews". I met everyone and his sister's are so beautiful. His mother's name was Edna and his sister name is Maria, he had a brother but he is dead his name was Damon. "You know Maria did kill her twin brother. After he killed her lover." I took a step back "She looks so sweet why did she kill him? Why did he kill her lover?" He sighed "It is a longer story that I have to tell you at a later date, for now go introduce yourself!" I kissed his cheek goodbye.

He walked over to his father, while holding Luca, "meet your grandson father!" he pronounced, and his father pointed to Athena "and there is another one coming as well, I can sense the fetus." Jeremiah simply nodded and smiled.
