[Warning R18: Mature themes, and smut.] + + + Thanks for stopping by! Just a heads up, this is my first time exploring the world of werewolves, but they won't be the only mythical beings in this story. The focus here will primarily be on the character growth of Aesther, and her quest for re-claiming and re-discovering herself. Romance is a secondary plot device, and once it does start to unravel, there will be some mature scenes as well. The Unravelling Threads

Someone knocked on the door.

A moment later, Aesther's voice came.

"Can I come in?"

Ezrahl was silent for a long time.

His face was darkened as he now wondered if he should coldly ask her to get lost or coldly ask her to enter. After all that had been happening between them lately, he really did not want to even see her anymore.

Reluctantly, he walked to the door and opened it.

He said nothing and simply stared down at her.

Aesther wanted to say something, but her expression shifted. Her amber eyes looked up at him as if they shrouded all the secrets of the world.

Then, slowly, her lips slightly curled into a small smile.

"Oh? I wasn't expecting you naked."

"..."

Aesther chuckled and pushed the door open. She walked inside as if nothing was wrong. Her curious gaze paused over the bloody water and his stained clothes.

Ezrahl frowned a little as he followed her inside.

"What's wrong?"
