[Warning R18: Mature themes, and smut.] + + + Thanks for stopping by! Just a heads up, this is my first time exploring the world of werewolves, but they won't be the only mythical beings in this story. The focus here will primarily be on the character growth of Aesther, and her quest for re-claiming and re-discovering herself. Romance is a secondary plot device, and once it does start to unravel, there will be some mature scenes as well. The Kiss of Death

The night was very cold.

Aesther glanced at Ezrahl before quietly pushing open the door open and leaving the room.

Silence hung around the hallways of Red Pearl, with only a few curtains softly swaying with the wind, and the dull lanterns creating reflections of saffron light.

She was entranced by the cursed sword belonging to Maevis. But when Aesther subconsciously tried to reach out, she was mortified by the flicker of another familiar energy she felt in the air.

A mana that caressed her like the brush of a forgotten familiarity.

Instinctively, she took a step back and looked around one last time before quickly leaving the hallways and heading outside.

Gusty winds rustled against Aesther's face, threading through her dark brown hair. She walked for a while before reaching the central courtyard of the building.

It connected all the parts of Red Pearl.
