Aurora’s POV
The sun peaked into Faith’s room, and I couldn’t help but groan in response. Faith was the opposite of me when it came to daylight. She basked in it and I was repelled by it.
“Wake up sleepy head.”
Her overly cheerful voice attacked my sensitive eardrums. I pulled the covers over my head and cuddled closer to the thin fabric in my hands. I inhaled softly, the masculine scent attacking my senses. He smelled amazing. It was woodsy with a hint of pine and citrus.
“Come on Dawn, get your sleepy butt up,” Faith persisted as she pulled the covers off my body.
Naturally, a wolf wouldn’t get cold, but realistically to an extent, shifters were just as sensitive to the weather as humans. As a wolf who just wakes up or is out of it, it takes longer for our natural heat to kick in and allow us internal warmth.
