CHAPTER 41
"What's causing so much racket?" As I blinked my eyes open, I moaned, was furious, and was frustrated. My heart thudded and banged against its cage as my eyes opened wide, causing me to jump out of bed in alarm.
"Where am I?" I shrieked in wonder, but just as I was about to worry, I noticed feet peeping through the plain peach blankets.
"Who are you?" I asked, my eyes wide open as I tossed the cover away from the body, only to see my sister, Lara, sleeping soundly and unconcerned by my outburst.
My racing heart came to a rest, but what I seized to understand was how I happened to have landed in her room. My head recalls no memory of how I happened to appear in her room, and the only thing I could remember was the fact that we were both laughing over a drink in the mansion's cellar.
