CHAPTER 30
"Are you sure you're sure about this?" He inquired. The car had been parked in a remote area. The surroundings were unremarkable; my heart hurt at the sight of them.
"Yes, I am," I replied. I've already come here, and there's no point in returning. I want to let them know that they've been discovered and that their fears are over. I'll make them understand that I'll do everything in my power to provide them with a nice existence, and perhaps they'll forgive me for being unaware of the difficulties they face on a daily basis.
The moment we both alighted from the car, a pungent smell hit me, forcing me to block my nose with a handkerchief.
The muddy ground was filled with garbage and covered with flies and maggots. I was disgusted.
Turning to look at Terran, I tried to catch his emotions, but his face held a straight look. He immediately grabbed my arm for protection as we approached the homes of the people.
