The yan was round in the front but flat in the back. On both sides of the mianguan, there was a hole where an emerald hairpin were passed through so that the crown could be fastened to the hair bun of the young man. A red band was attached to the centre of the mianguan and wrapped around it. The silk cord was tied on one end of the hairpin and then tied on the other side of the hairpin passing under the chin. There was also a chong'er  located on both side of the mianguan around the ear area. It was a pearl or a piece of jade which symbolized that the young man should not have believe in any slander. The assassins immediately charged, swinging their blades in the air from odd angles. Looking almost bored, the young man deflected of all them, his own sword dancing through the air. In the midst of chaos, he looked to be almost dancing gracefully in the air as he leapt and jumped with trained precision.

He drove the assassins at one corner and fought them all at once. One versus ten. The young man then headed to one of the assassins. It was a matter of few seconds that Chow Yi Nuo could tell the assassin the young man was fighting was the leader of the pack. Although she was not well versed in martial arts, she could see that the assassin's movements were smoother and faster than the others, almost like a viper striking his opponent continuously as every stroke of his blade was intended to kill.

But soon, the young managed to throw the sword off the assassin's hands and with that he threatened to kill him if he did not retreat. The leader of the pack soon gave up and ordered his team to retreat. The assassins ran back deep into the forest. The young man sheathed his sword and turned around to face Chow Yi Nuo.

"Thank you." The two said in unison before Zhi Meng Yao bowed slightly at the young man and said respectfully, " Crown Prince Jun Yuanchao."

"My prince," a young man ran towards Jun Yuanchao and greeted him with a fist and palm salute. He had worn a nine tasselled crown.

"You're welcome but Miss Zhong Kexin, please do not do such tricks just to get my attention. You already know that I love your sister." Jun Yuanchao said as he walked out of the place together with his right-hand man, Zhou Zhifou.
