Lured

Oh no, we haven't forgotten about James and Jenny who has been in Detroit Jamaica with Jenny's younger brother and the family, they had checked their only surviving son into a school and the boy lives alone. Legally, they have a daughter whose name is Lucy James and they abandoned her with absolutely nothing to depend on, no food, no money, no assets, in fact the house they lived in is registered under James so Lucy does not have the right to sell the house even though it originally belonged to his adopted father, James. Since they arrived the younger brother's house, things have been quite smooth but James knew that the seamlessness and smoothness they are enjoying was as a result of them just arriving, he knew that they must get their own apartment so as to leave the in-law's house and have a level of privacy. Jenny and the younger brother's wife had some hidden fights inside their mind, more like unsettled conversations and unexpressed feelings so their conversations were very minimal possibly because Jenny had reservations about her and her people. So because of that, she persuaded her husband James to get a house sooner than expected.

The day they agreed to check out some property after contacting some real estate agents, Jenny got quite a disturbing message from Lucy stating '' help '', but she ignored it and deleted the message instantly because she knew that once James sees the message, he will start heading back home. Her intention was to fully settle, then find a way to help Lucy. The message was from Lucy's cell but the person behind the message was the lie demon from the legion who deceived and betrayed Lucy, Zyana, Death and Seduction, he had gone to the house with other demons to finish off the assignment that was given to Lucy which she failed to carry out, and that assignment is to kill the remaining family and members of the J. As Lucy was hanging on a tree that night before her escape, Lie got an instruction from the master to go and end the remaining members of the J's family but when he got there, he discovered that they were gone, he was surprised because he thought that the house was sealed by Lucy's power but to his disbelieve, it wasn't. He thought about what could have happened, who tipped them off? He thought about who gave them power to unlock the demonic seal or did Lucy deceive him? While he was thinking, he entered into Lucy's room and was going through her stuff, then he found a burner cell phone in the wardrobe and decided to go through the numbers saved in the phone, he found only two numbers the first is James number and the second was Jenny's number so he decided to text Jenny hoping that she would bite to the message and call back, that way he would find out where they are hiding. He first attempted following them but they used the chemical that Lucy left so they were completely untraceable. Luckily for Jenny, her actions even though were not justified, saved them from been found by the clan that was searching for them.

The noon came the sun was at the peak of the horizon, and the heat waxed its tentacles across the city, the kind of heat James craved for, because he had lived in a very cold city for long and as such needs a different weather, he found Detroit to be like his dream city even though he escaped to the city out of fear of been killed by the demons Lucy has been protecting them from. He took his in-laws car and drove with Jenny to the property they intent to purchase for themselves, one of the major consideration they had was to get a three to four bedroom apartment so that Lucy and their last remaining son could have a room each while they still have a visitor's room to accommodate people coming to visit them. They checked about five different properties until they came to conclusion to take one that is less in price and slightly off town. James and Jenny always loved a field, so they went for the apartment off town because they need access to field where they can cultivate too.

While they were in the house, Jenny had a flashback of what happened to her earlier before they came to Detroit, she was saddened by the fact that uncertainty looms around her satisfaction in sex, she was not sure if James had truly forgiven her and gotten over what happened even though they talked about it on their way to Jamaica. Deep down, she still feels tingles of the demon, the invisible yet strong attachment an then the strong sex. She misses the sex but not the addiction and definitely not with the demon that possessed her, she needed James to be the cowboy that he was when they met so as to be able to give it to her till she reaches the apex of satisfaction. While she was lost in the thought, James crawled in and asked her if she was satisfied with the apartment, the only word Jenny heard was … '' Satisfied'', she quickly looked at her Husband stylishly and smiled and James understood immediately what she wanted at that point. Well, it didn't go as planned because while they were kissing intimately, they heard a knock from the front door and it was the agent who came to ask them if they are satisfied with the house so as to proceed with the paper work and finalization of the payment structure, so they quickly dressed back and went down to answer the agent. ''We have to finish this soon'', Jenny said but James smiled and said '' you know your brother will probably hear you moaning my name if we try this at his place'', they both laughed and agreed to move in three days after they finalize with the payment of the house.
