Unclear Feelings...

Eric Crown got into the car and Kevin drove straight to the office complex. The Crown Tower is a formidable building on the industrial road, with it's blue colorful glass windows and doors.

As we drove into the underground parking space, Eric noticed some people sitting down at the entrance. Andrew was already waiting for him as Eric got out of the car, what's with all those people at the gate he asked Andrew.

Sir, the HR department is conducting recruitment for some positions in the new branch opening up next month he explained.

Okay, but that's a lot of people I saw out there Eric remarked. Tell them to quickly increase the number of personnel conducting the interview, I don't want to see that crowd in the next two hours.

Yes sir Andrew answered, immediately making a call.

Eric just finished a meeting concerning acquisition of a company and it didn't go as well as he had expected.

His team didn't do their review of the company well, and it looks like a lot of the staff have to be led off. Eric try to avoid transactions where people will be deprived of their livelihood.

Yes some times it cannot be avoided but not to this magnitude.Eric always try to minimize this kind of fell out.

Andrew, I want those points outlined in the meeting looked into and this time no half measures Eric instructed sternly.

I'm sorry sir. Should have looked through that report I take responsibility Andrew answered.

Eric didn't respond, he looked through the car window as they head to the airport. This is the business district of City V and it's always very busy at this time of the day but the traffic is still moderate now. In the next hour or so this road will be jammed, I need to see her. I can't travel without seeing her.

Kelvin, head to the hospital instead Eric instructed.

What? Andrew turned on the passenger sit in front to look at his boss behind, surprised. Sir, you will miss your flight. Traffic will not favorable at by the time we're heading back.

As we head to the hospital, Eric heard Andrew rearranging his flight time and plan. He knows there was no way we would make the scheduled flight time.

Eric got to the hospital, and was met by Dr. Robert, who followed him to the mystery woman's room, Wondering if he should just give her a name? He was tire of calling her mystery woman.

Dr. Robert was giving me a report on her condition. It seems nothing has changed and Eric felt a bit frustrated.

Eric wants to meet her, he wants to know what happened to her. He wants her to meet her daughter who is growing everyday. Eric wants answers, and he is already getting impatient.

Eric at by her bed side staring at her. He signed heavily, wondering how long they have to wait.

Eric noticed Andrew looking at his wrist watch, and looking back at him, Ihe ust ignored him. Andrews knows this is the time when he just keeps quiet, he left with Dr. Robert.

Eric reached for her right hand and held it, it was kind of cold. Her left hand had an intravenous line connected to it to provide fluids and drugs.

Eric caressed the back of her hand and wished she would respond to him. Why does he feel this way towards a complete stranger?

Your daughter looks like you; She is beautiful Eric said to her. You have to wake up, she is growing everyday and I don't want you to miss out on any stage of her life.

I called her Sunshine, a befitting name don't you think? she is as bright as the Sun.

Eric suddenly laughed, "I don't even know your name yet but I feel like we have known each other for long".

Different thoughts were going through Eric's mind, why she is so familiar? Why do he feel this way about her? Why have I not slept well since that attempt on her life? why, why why?

Eric felt he should start thinking of a long term plan for Sunshine because anyone who falls into a comatose state is at risk of dying. In some cases, there may be a complete recovery with no loss of brain functioning, while in other cases, lifelong brain damage is the result.

So many questions, Eric noticed his phone vibrating. It was Andrew, he was sure it was to remind him of his flight.

Eric bent down and kissed her cheeks. I have to go, see you when I get back.

When Eric got to City M, on the way to his office headquarters I sent Bolt a text. Any update?

When there was no reply from him, I knew he was somewhere he couldn't reply or he left his phone in a safe place.

I need to find out who she is it's over a month and no concrete information whatsoever. Someone must be suppressing any information concerning her but why?

And I am not at ease with her in that hospital, not at ease at all. I feel, yes my feelings what are they really?

I am in love with Sunshine, that is undisputed as for her mother my feelings are not clear. I know I feel a bit too anxious and concerned about her but maybe it's because I was involved in the accident.

But I know it's much more than that, I feel much more although I can't explain it. How can you have feelings for a woman you don't know I asked myself? Your car hit her for crying out loud, clear or unclear feelings you think she will want to have anything to do with you when she wakes up?

Oh boy I didn't think about that before but I took care of her and her baby.

Eric focus, get a hold of yourself. It's not like you lack feminine attention so why are you getting all this anxious feelings for a woman in coma?

As soon as we got to the office, I tried to concentrate on my work and forget about the mystery woman and her daughter. I tried but I didn't completely succeed.

I just moved the thought of her and her daughter to the side for the now. Sir, they are waiting for you at the board room Andrew said keeping his distance

I got up from my desk and head for my meeting. Telling myself that I need to get my mind on things I can control. This situation with the woman in coma is not what I can control, as for my unclear feeling, they are what they are ''unclear''.

There is nothing I can do about it now, I need to be patient which is something I don't have in abundance right now.

I just hope the information we're waiting for comes right now rather than later.
