chapter 93 Ayden's mother

Alexa who had come out of the office could now breath properly,if felt like she had bring under water for a while now,she walked over to secretary Kim,she had just finished making a call.

Yes sir,she said and dropped it.

It seemed she was talking to Ayden.

Come,I'll show you around,she got up and proceeded to give her a tour of the company,the company was really big and she was wowed as she saw different corners of it...,from the marketing team to the designing team to fabrics..,models and all..

It was really eye deserving,she had met some people and they were nice to her greeting her.

Everyone this is miss Alexa,she will be joining us from today..,you should all get to know her, secretary Kim said and left leaving her alone as they all stared at her.

Oh..,Alexa said and smiled at them,they returned the smile.

What happened to your nose?,he asked with a raised brow as he reached his hand out to touch it.

It hurts,she flinched as he touched it,he withdrew his hands caressing the red spot.

It's nothing..I hit my nose,she said as she couldn't tell him she tripped in flat shoes and knocked into the office table,it was too embarrassing.

He leaned closer to inspect if the nose was broken,anyone seeing this from afar would think they were making out,he was glad as it was a few bruise anv nothing serious,he took her over to the passenger seat and got into the car before driving off to a nearby pharmacy.

Ayden had completely misinterpreted everything,now he was in denial,he got a phone call which finally brought a smile in his face.

Hello ma,he said with a smile.

Son I'll be coming to Mexico soon,she said.

Oh..when should I expect you?,he asked.

I'll drop by tomorrow,get someone to fetch me from the airport,she said and he hummed lightly before disconnecting the call.

Three years ago,he had being forced to marry Ashley the daughter of the mayor of country C by his adoptive father the mayor of country D in return for his mother,he had initially thought that his mom had died because of his biological father,he had no idea she escaped from from the immortal realm and landed here,the mayor had seen her and taken interest in her,she was deep in sleep and had not woken up for a while.

Soon after Ayden recovered he treated him like his own son but never told him that his mother was with him,back then she hadn't regained consciousness it was till the mayor proposed that Ayden should get married to Ashley so the union between the two country would make his stronger and more powerful,he bluntly rejected countless times so he could only use his mother to get him to comply.

Ayden didn't believe his mother was with him but that was after the mayor showed him a video of his mother sleeping peacefully,he had no choice but to comply and actually get engaged to Ashley but he promised himself he wasn't going to marry her because Alexa already got the wrong idea about everything and he wanted to explain but he had forgotten about her and didn't marry Ashley because he wasn't interested in her.

He managed to rescue his mom and they moved to Mexico,she meanwhile wanted to explore the world as she had being in deep sleep for a while,now she was in London but finally decided to come stay with her son Ayden.

After taking her to the nearest pharmacy and buying a cream to avoid swelling,he drove her back to her university.

William..,am sure you know who the CEO of X $ X is?,Alexa asked and he hummed lightly.

And you know our past relationship,she questioned and he was silent for a while before he hummed in response.

In the future can you not say anything to him,she said and he looked at her confused,they were already in front of the university so he was parked now.
