chapter 9 Friday party

The days went quickly and before i know it ,it was already Friday,i didn't talk to Fred throughout from Tuesday till that Friday ,i tried to avoid him as best as i could and i could tell he knew i was ignoring him.

He tried to talk to me but i shunned it down quickly.

Alexa are you intentionally avoiding? me,Fred asked with concern.

Fred we can talk later i need to see ..... the principal,i lied.

Why,is something wrong?,he asked.

No i just need her to help me with something,i said still lying.

Ok,he said stretching his hands open to hug me but i quickly left him.

Back at Alexa's house.

Alexa's mom (kathy) and Fred mom (Cassandra)were discussing in the living room .

Cassandra ,i called you here to ask you if fred is acting kind of strange,or does he have a displeasing behaviour,Kathy asked.

Yes ,i noticed that ever since fred started in that school,he was always sad and he never talks to me again,Cassandra said.

Did you tell him anything about the deal we had years back,Kathy asked.

No,No way i could never even think of it ,Cassandra defended herself.

He wouldn't talk to me ever again if he finds out what we did,she added.

Yh , Alexa will be pretty mad too,Kathy said.

I just wanted to be sure,our secrets are safe so that we wouldn't end up doing something we both will regret,she added.

I get what you are trying to say,Cassandra said.

Let try and also forget about it so that it won't end up coming up on any discussions,Kathy said.

So later today we will go to the company and see if the designers are at work,Kathy said.

I love my job,Cassandra added smiling.

Though it took me 7 years to reach where i am , it was totally worth it,Kathy said.

Do you think she found out,a blondie said.

No ,she couldn't,Ayden said.

But you said you told her about what happened between you and fred,the blondie added.

Yes,i did tell her everything ,i didn't miss out any details,but the only problem is that she is not talking to me,Ayden said.

How on earth will you complete the revenge plot if she doesn't talk to you,The blondie said.

Ayden didn't reply at first , it seemed like he was lost in thought then suddenly he gave out an evil smirk.

Take it easy and slow,Ayden said.

What the hell are you talking about,The blondie said.

She isn't talking to me the same way she is totally avoiding fred so i could just go to her and sympathize,Ayden said smiling.

The blondie was still confused but seemed to catch on.

And when do you think you can complete the Bet,The blondie asked.

You know the rules you have to complete your bet by the end of one week,and hello this is friday,The blondie added.

Well i think i can hit on her to today at the party,Ayden said moving his gaze to the blondie.

There is just one thing,make sure to keep fred out of the way and also i need her sleeping ,he said with an evil smirk.

What makes you think she will come to find you,the blondie asked.

You ask a lot of questions,wait for tonight and see the outcome,Ayden said.

Whenever i wanted school to be over quickly , it was always very slow ,and right now that was my wish for school to close quickly.

We had classes and classes ,i kept on avoiding fred even though we had mathematics together.

He kept on trying to talk to me because he was opposite my sit but i always acted busy and focused.

i was focused though but i pretended not to hear him.

When school was over ,i was about to go home when i remembered that i still had detention.

Fu*k,i still have detention.

I sluggishly went back to class and took a seat at the back chair so i was alone,but few minutes later Fred came walking in the door and i quickly put my face on the desk to avoid him finding me.

But he still found me and sat close to me trying to talk.

H-hi,he said like he was scared of something.

Cough**,i cleared my throat.

Hey,i said not looking at him.

How are you?,he asked ,something he doesn't ask matter of factly when we were always together .

Amfine,i said still not looking at him.

So do you want to talk?,he asked looking directly at my face .

No,am busy,i said.

picking your nails?,he asked.

Obvi,i said.

please tell me what is the problem,you have being avoiding me since on Monday,he said.

Nothing,i just needed space,i said before looking at him.

Space from our relationship,he asked surprised

Why would you do such a thing?,i asked before realising what i had done.

I remembered Ayden telling me not to tell him,but what could i do , before my brain could catch up to what i was saying my mouth had already started spilling out the words.

Please tell me what i did,he practically begged.

I ignored him as i picked a novel from my bag and began to read.

He left dissapointed and shocked.

Some minutes later Ayden came in looking for me.

he walked towards me and sat where fred just stood up from.

Hey can i stay here,he asked.

What's the need asking when you're already seated,i said.

I knew you were not going to let me,he said stretching his legs on the table.

So you're still coming right?,he asked.

Yeah,when does it start,i asked

from 6 till midnight,he said.

Okay,should i like pick you up,he said.

I have a driver who can do that,i said still reading .

I was so happy when he finally shut up and i used the remaining detention time to read my novel.

When i arrived home ,i went to my mom's room and i said to her "midnight fashion emergency".

she understood what i tried to tell her and she went to helyo me find a cloth while i was taking my bath,when i came out i saw a gold sequin dress on my bed with a gold shoe.

i went to the front of my mirror and i dried my wet hair then i curled it.

when i was done wearing my acessories and clothings.

i started thinking about fred and what he might be doing now.

i cleared my head and went downstairs to meet my driver ,then i showed him the address and told him take me to the venue.
