You all are useless,you can't even find a little girl for me,get lost,the king screamed at the guards and they scurried out of there.

Call me Mira,he ordered one of the guards and they left quickly as he was in a bad mood.

Mira was the concubine he adored dearly,she was a human,a pure human but she had bring raised by a vampire who had later sent her to the king to have a better life,all of the king's concubine were vampires,Mira was the only human amongst them with a ravishing beauty and that was the reason she was hated by all the concubine and also probably the reason the kind adored her,and would always sleep together on the same bed,she was the only one who had the privilege to sleep on his bed.

She entered the room meekly as the king had being throwing a tantrum for the past two days and she was a little afraid of him now,he seemed totally different.

Your majesty,you asked for me,she said gently with a bow and he looked over at her with reddened eye.

Come over here,he said and her heart started to pound loudly in her chest as she took slow steps towards him,she was now in front of her as he stared up at her because he sat on the bed.

He could clearly hear her heart pounding really fast, and he could tell she was frightened.

She was just a mere human and even though she had being raised by a vampire,she had no gift of any sort and was still a mere mortal,he had even tasted her blood to confirm and she was so pure and sweet,it wasn't like that of a vampires blood,it made one want to continue taking it without pause.

Sit down,he ordered gently and she sat down keeping her distance which he noticed.

Mira,have you done the test?..,are you really pregnant?..,tell me quickly?,..he questioned and her lashes fluttered as she was terrified of his behavior though his voice was gentle,it was still domineering.

N..no.,am..not..preg..nant,she stuttered at the verge of tears.

Sh*t,he cursed as he hit the lamp causing it to break and she shivered frightening as the tears she tried so much to hold in fell down running down her cheeks.

Did that damned little girl really lie to him about Mira being pregnant.

Are you lying to me,your really not pregnant,he held her chin and made her look at him,her face was staring at him but her eyes weren't looking at him.

Look at me,he shouted and she burst out crying as she stared at him now.

No,am not pregnant,your majesty.

Scram,he screamed and she ran out of the room not looking back at all.

The palace was in chaos and no one was able to sleep because of Alexa but in the human world she was fast asleep like a baby not caring about anything in the world.

The next day came quickly and she couldn't help but feel overwhelmed as the next day was her birthday,it was on the 1st of October,she was really pleased and felt overjoyed though Ayden wasn't around he promised to spend the day with her when he returns and she could just celebrate her birthday with her mom over dinner,she felt happy with that thought.

She quickly prepared her self for the day,she wanted to go back home as her birthday was close by,she didn't take any of her clothing as she would still be coming back here,she only took the necessary things she needed.

She couldn't stay alone another day or she would really lose it,being away from Ayden for four whole days had really messed up her mind,she missed him..,missed him a lot and though they would video call sometimes it wasn't enough as she wanted to see his face,feel his breathing on her,his masculine scent and alluring aura,she couldn't stay there any longer.

She had breakfast while browsing through Weibo ,when was done eating she got dressed in nude t-shirt and a baggy blue ocean sweatpants paired with a white sneakers,she looked extremely alluring and inviting,she also had a nice figure and it fit perfectly with the clothing,she locked the door before leaving with her bag.

She used a taxi to go back home,her mom had just finished making breakfast and she was on a call so Alexa didn't disturb her and just have her a light peck on her cheeks before sneaking a piece of bacon before returning to the sofa,she drowned in it's softness.

Her mom was done making the call as she called Alexa over to the dining to eat with her,she rejected the offer to eat but she accompanied her though.

She say down on the opposite side of the chair as she watched her mom eat while she snuck small pieces of her food eating it making her smile.
