She was indeed correct,since this morning he had felt his heart twitch and ache continuously.

She went to the kitchen to get a snack as she felt she needed a reward after messing with the king,after taking a snack she went up to her room and immediately her phone rang and a bright smile was visible on her face.

I'll be back the day after your birthday and we'll do whatever you want,he tried to cheer her up.

With a sign she said"okay,I'll hang up then",she tried her best to not show that she didn't like the fact that he was neglecting her,but he also had responsibilities and he couldn't neglect it because of her.

With a sigh she laid down on the bed, all traces of hunger had dissipated and she just felt sad.

It was already Saturday and her birthday was just in two days time,she was one who would love to celebrate her birthday with her loved once but none of them seemed to have her time,with a sigh she closed her eyes.

The day didn't go as she planned at all.

As the mayor of country C,his house was top notch, exquisite,the interiors were dazzling and made one feel at home even with the luxury items surrounding the house,he was indeed loaded.

John and Alexa's mom were seated on the couch but her head was settled on his lap as he caressed her hair which felt very comfortable.

Will you be able to make it?,John asked her something but she was unsure.

Am not sure about that,it'll be Alexa's birthday on Monday,and I wanted to be with her.

How about this,you can go with Alexa then when everything is over,the next day we will throw a grand party for her to celebrate.

Na she doesn't like grand parties,she would be pleased if she just went out with people she cared about.

Then we'll all go out for dinner,he said and she finally smiled,he was mesmerized by her charming smile as he bent down and kissed her on the lips,she immediately sat down and looked around like a thief,the mansion was pretty big and maids were scattered on every floor,moreover he had a daughter who stayed with him and she wouldn't want her to see them like that.

Why would you do that,what if she saw us,she scolded him but he wasn't hearing any of it as he held her and nuzzled his face into her neck.

She went out with a few friends,his voice sounded hoarse,she wasn't a child to not understand what he wanted,she bit her lower lips giving into temptation.

Meanwhile Ashley who was at the mall with her friends sneezed a couple of times.

Seems someone is talking about you,one of her friends said but she didn't reply and went to pick a gown for her engagement party,she could've easily sent someone to do it but she didn't want any mistakes with the measurements and wanted it perfect.

She was given the special treatment in the 5 star rated shopping mall not just because she was the mayor's daughter,but because the mall was a subsidiary under their business and they feared the young madam.

She wasn't even in the mood to go shopping after the party in country D when Ayden wasn't even looking her way,she had decided that when they got engaged she would make him forget about Alexa and be with her only ,but it seemed that it would be very tough because apart from Alexa he wasn't close to any female,none that she was aware of and it bothered her that his feeling for Alexa won't change even though they would be engaged very soon.

Ashley was hell-bent of getting Ayden for herself.

Ashley,in the party at country D, Ayden didn't seem happy like he didn't want to do the engagement,hearing that she turned and glared at the owner of that rotten mouth who called themselves her friend.
