chapter 31 breakup 3

she literally just killed the vibe,was he mad or something that she joked like that..., should she call him back...,na she would seem desperate,she should just wait to see him.

Her mom soon called her for dinner,she rushed down as she really wanted ramen now,she gobbled down the noodles and washed her plates before running back upstairs.

As she laid on the bed,her phone buzzed with a new notification.

She opened the message and it read "hey can we talk".

She frowned and replied "I've already said all I wanted to".

Alexa please,I didn't mean to hurt you,I really do like you and our relationship,he pleaded.

Well too bad you ruined everything,I never knew you were a playboy,but thank God I found out soon enough,goodbye Fred,she said and switched off her phone.

She tried to sleep,but it was hard...she had a lot on her mind she had to go with Fred to the gala and she haven't told her mom about their breakup, everything was so messed up...she soon dozed off as mist hovered the air.

She was in a dark place..,it was a forest and fire was burning everywhere,the sound of swords hitting each other wer heard and it was know that a fight was happening and it wasn't fat from where she was, she processed and followed the sound,on her way she heard a man talking to someone but she couldn't see the person because it was dark ,so she snuck behind the person as he went to where the fight was taking place.

She soon got there and felt that it felt familiar,the dream was to familiar like she was in it before,she looked around the forest and soon saw a very familiar figure that could never escape her sight.

D.. dad,she called out but he didn't hear her and continued fighting,she soon remembered that it was a dream and she had come into this dream bed.

Dad...behind you,she screamed as she sword was struck at his back and pushed forward to his chest,he turned back and looked at who stabbed him,he was shocked as it was his ally and close friend,Alexa was shocked too as it was the man she had being following.

What shocked her the more was when her father laid on the floor motionless,his face wasn't his anymore and the man who killed him was now bearing her father's face and her father had the man's face.

No no,dad no..,she screamed as she woke up sweating profusely,her heart thudding loudly in her chest,she sat down on the bed trying to understand what just happened,was that dream some kind of revelation,did her dad really die in an accident or was this really what happened,was he even human to begin with?,she thought and it all made sense.

No wonder she wasn't human too,but why did another man bear her father's face,the other person she had seen with her father's face was,realization struck her.

Ayden's father was a vampire but he possessed her father's face,the fight that was happening,she was certain it was the witch forest,so the man who killed her father was Ayden's dad...,but why,why would he kill her father,what did he want ,she thought.

But what if am wrong,what if it was just a nightmare,she was really torn,she went out of bed and took a shower before going to her mom's room and joining her in bed.

The rest of her night was peaceful and she didn't have any other night mare luckily,she woke up early the next day and went to her room to get dressed for school,she got dressed and had breakfast with her mom before she drove her to school.

Mom..I won't be coming back early today,she told her mom.

Have a good day sweetie,she said not asking questions as Alex's rushed to class.

on arrival,Ayden and Fred were in class,she didn't want to draw attention to herself so she went to take her seat with Ayden.

Can I talk to you Alexa,Fred talked softly to her as he was seated in front of her.

Fred please,..just please,she said to him and he faced his front.

How was your night?, Ayden finally said a word as she walked into the classroom.

It was memorable,she said and he smiled.

So you have any specific place you want to go to,he asked.

You're the one taking me right?,she answered back with a question and soon the teacher entered the class as it soon commenced.

In the middle of a class,she got a message from her mom,when your done with school,you and Fred should come to the company,so you can try the fitting for the gala.

Gosh...it escaped her mind earlier and she knew she had to talk to Fred now about it so when class ended,she dragged Fred outside with her.

Look I need to tell you something,she said.

What is it?,he asked worriedly.

Your mom and my mom said we were invited to a gala and we had to come as couples so am letting you know,for the mean time pretend we still date while we are close to our parents but asides from that stay away from me,she warned and left not leaving him even the slightest chance to talk to her.

She entered the class back and Ayden seemed to be playing with his phone.

Umm...I think we shouldn't cancel our plans for today, Alexa said quietly as he stopped and looked at her.

It's not that I don't want to go out with you,but my mom wants Fred and I over at the company,she tried explaining but he cut her short.

It's fine,you don't have to tell me the reasons,I know it's not your fault and you have your hands full, anyways we can do it another day,he tried comforting himself and her.

Am really sorry,okay.. we'll make it work another day,she said and he was cool with it,she like the fact that he was understanding and always put her first.
