chapter 20 Sighting the vampire king

But why the sudden change ,he asked talking to no one particular.

Ayden hasn't shown any matter of concern for anything relating the castle,though he doesn't have his full memory yet,he still think something is strange with his father.

He was usually coldhearted,and didn't care about Ayden nor his mother even when she was dying in her death bed ,he didn't show any concern.

But whenever he was with his three vampire sons he always became warm hearted and understanding,the iceberg within him will be melted.

He was a heartless beast who didn't care about anybody but himself and his vampire sons,those where the only exceptions.

Ayden had lived a bad childhood,he didn't experience anything good,he wasn't allowed to leave the palace,he was like a maid serving the king.

He was only allowed to leave the castle during wars,he was even unfortunate to experience his first war when he was just 11 years old.

It was during the war he foumd out how strong he was and he didn't need his so called father or his fools of a brother to be s superior king,he thought.

He could be a king even in his little age....he could be the kimg of the world....he can even rule the king and his sons and torture them till they die slowly in his hands....and he promised if they were to die in his hands it will be a slow painful intense death,he thought further.

Humans/vampires his age were living life to the fullest,enjoying life and goimg on adventure like kids do both vampires and humans even witches ....but there he was an 11 year old half vampire thinking of ways to kill the kimg and take over the world.

These were the only thingsAyden had memery of and he didn't know why the rest were blank amd he couldn't fill it.

Hey are you coming,Alexa asked looking at his dazed face.

Yeah,i was just thinking....,never mind he said smot spilling.

Alexa could only keep shut because she needed answers and really quick,they went into the palace and Ayden amd Alexa went straight to the throne room but that didn't stoo Alexa feom admiring the view.

Your majesty,Ayedn greeted as he bowed and Alexa knew better to follow him and bow before the king.

The king had this chilling aura,he was in front of them but alexa felt his presence was all around the palace,she felt something off but knew better than to talk so she kept quiet ...after raising her head after greeting the king,the king and her both shared the same shocked face....As alexa could clearly see her dad face clearly as she looked at the man in front of her whil the man shared the same shocked faceas he could tell she was the daughter of the father whom he killed and took his appearance and also he could sense danger around her;clearly meaning she was the next vamoire warrior and he knew if she by chance find out what he did ,she would never fight for the vampires instead against them.

He searched her hands to see if he would find the warrior mark on her,he sighed a big sigh of relief finding out she doesn't have one which clearly means he was wrong about her being the warrior's daughter...or..that she had the mark somewhere else,the thought of that made him shiver.

The vampire kings was used to sending shivers to people's spine but never for once did hr think he would have a spine shifting shiver himself because of what.... A Warrior Princess .

Alexa what's wrong,Ayden asked as he searched her face for a hint of what was wrong.

He looked back between the king and alexa,as the king noticed suspicion filling on Ayden's eye ,he ungazed the gaze he gazed at Alex,in other word he broke eye contact and looked at Ayden saying"Why did you waste so much time to present yourself to the king".

I didn't feel like coming at all , but i changed my mind,he saud coldly.

Th-that witch....she was right.....she didn't lie to me...did she lie to me?,...is this a dream?,.Alexa taught as her head felt like running away from her body.
