chapter 13 Cousin's war 1

The next morning came and my mom was bugging me telling me about some visitors coming over but i was so sleepy ,i didn't hear most of the things she said.i have being awake for half the night though i slept on the couch,i woke up and went to my room but i couldn't fall asleep again.

I was shifting back and forth uncomfortably.

I was having a nightmare but it didn't quite have any effect on me.

"Alexa"!,my mom screamed my name from downstairs.

i rolled out of my bed annoyed as i didn't have enough sleep . i immediately arranged my bed which was part of my regular routine as i went to take my bath and brush my teeth before i got changed.

I came downstairs looking for my mom when i spotted her she was in the kitchen cooking and baking.

i went to meet her then i greeted her and was about to go when she stopped me.

Alexa come help ,she said.

With what,Alexa said.

Arrannge the guest room for your cousin ,she's coming over,she said.

Ok ,Alexa said as she turned to leave but she immediately turned around and said.

"Wait what ",she said shocked.

Who?,she added.

Your cousin,Alicia,Her mom said.

Alicia,mom you know i don't like her,Alexa said.

Don't talk like that,she is your cousin,her mom said supposedly supporting bad.

I know you still clearly remember what she did,Alexa said frowning.

It doesn't mean that is in the past dear,forget it,her mom said.

Mom why are you doing this to me,Alexa said angry with her.

You just have to bear with me honey,She said.

Am going out,Alexa said.

Be back early,ok,she said but alexa didn't say anything as she left the house and strolled around with no destination.

She kept on walking until she entered a dark place but she kept on walking not minding where she was going to because she was lost in thought.

A noise woke her from her trance.

wh-who is there,she stammered.

she kept on going to see if she will find the source of the noise as she reached the end point she saw a bat hanging up , she looked at it then she turned back to leave the area but unfortunately for her something connected to the back of her head and she blacked out before she could see what it was.

She woke up to the sound of something sparking.

she opened her eyes and looked around to inspect her environment but she had no clue where she was and her head still hurt.

she kept on looking around until she spotted two fellows sharpening something.

That must have being the noise that woke her,she thought.

Hey she's awake,one of them said as he turned around to look at her.

they both came closer to her and she tried to stand up but she was bounded to something and she didn't realise until now.

Let me go,what do you want,Alexa yelled.

Ohh, feisty i like you already,one of them said as he smiled.

she was shocked with what she saw;he was a vampire.

Was his other accompany also a vampire,she thought as she stared at him.

Yes i am a vampire,he said as if reading her thoughts and she was shocked again.

What do you want with me?,she asked still holding her ground.

I know you know Ayden ,one of the two said straightforwardly.

Ye-yes and so?,she asked.

Well we were sent by his father to bring him to the palace,he answered.

Palace ,Alexa said.

Yes ,he is the prince next in line to the throne,but he left the palace and didn't come back ,so we tracked him and found out he stays in this place but we don't know where so we used you as bait to catch him,He said.

You're spilling to much information,the 2nd one told the 1st one.

So you think he will come here?,Alexa asked.

Yes,they answered.

We got to find out he likes you so why won't he come her,the ist guys said.

Like in your dreams , Alexa scoffed.

we are not even friends to begin with,she added.

He's here,they said in unison.

Who?,i asked.

Seconds past and mist covered the place.

In the next minute ,Ayden was standing in front of the two stangers wearing all black.

James,Davis,what are you doing here,he asked annoyed.

Your highness,they both bowed.

What the h*ll is going on,i asked my self.

What is she doing here,he asked as he looked at her.

His eyes there were black and hid things that even she didn't understand,it was pitch black indicating darkness.

Why the sudden darkness?,wasn't he friendly last night?,these questions flooded her brain.

Your highness the king sent us to fetch you,Davis said as he bowed his head.

And why did you bring her here,Ayden asked.

Let the girl go,He added.

But your high....,Davis couldn't complete his word as ayden strangled him .

i said let the girl go,he said again piercing his nail into davis neck as in groaned in pain.

Re-release her,Davis said to james as Ayden threw him om the floor with a loud thud and he tried to catch his breath.
