chapter 108 Paying for lunch

They left the restaurant and went back to the car, Ayden drove away.

As much as I would love to stay and chat some more,I need to be somewhere and you guys need your space..am I right?,his mom said to Alexa with a wink and her face turned red.

Ayden stop here,am heading somewhere now,and with that he stopped the car by the side of the road as his mom waved them goodbye and she left.., Alexa meanwhile then occupied the passenger seat.

After a minute of silence Ayden spoke up"thanks".

For what?,she questioned back confused.

You helped my mom by the roadside when you didn't know her and even helped me,he explained.

Oh..it's nothing,she replied and stared outside feeling kinda weird as. She peeled the skin in her finger.

She thought he was going to ask about the made up story she told his mom about them dating but he didn't ask anything so she relaxed.

He drove them back to the company as he still had a lot of work to do so did she.

As Peter and Mia waited at the table ,their dish arrived and as big as the table was the dishes Peter ordered was much she felt sweat forming in her palms.

How am I to pay for all this?,

The little cash I have will prolly finish?,she thought with a sigh.

Peter had started eating bit minding she was just at the other end of the table and at the end of the day she was going to pay for it.

Soon after her own dish arrived,when the waiter had left,she opened the cover only to see...a squid..in the soup.

The menu didn't lie..,she had thought it was just a fancy name for a soup not really expecting a real life sized squid in the soup.

Oh God..,she felt the urge to puke as she kept on staring at it.

She stared at the squid and hurriedly covered it with a clang sound,Peter looked up at her with a raised brow.

The squid is alive...it just winked at me..,she said with a hushed tone as the hunger she felt had really gone to her head.

Peter laughed harder..,the girl was hilarious..,he had come about different types of women,the prestigious,classy all in all but he had never met someone and charismatic and funny as Mia was..did I not mention pretty..

She was the first female to make him laugh so hard.

Ohk..,your getting paranoid,he said finally after laughing at her,she was in a foul mood,she had just ordered a squid soup and couldn't eat it do her money had shortened also she had to pay for everything on the table plus the fact that she was still freaking hungry and this rich snob was laughing at her.

Peter called the waiter to take the dish away,he was afraid if what Mia would say next..,the squid blew a kiss at her.., ridiculous.

She had a great sense of humor and was easily liked.

The fish was removed from the table so her side of the table was empty not even a glass of water but Peter's side was full and she would still end up paying for it..,she felt like crying.

He didn't seem to bother with her and continued to eat,she could only hold in her hunger and stare out the window.

Peter looked at her as she stared at him cutely,he couldn't help but smile as he pushed a few dishes to her side,she looked up at him and he smiled sweetly.

Eat,he only said and continued to eat.

She on the other hand was to hungry to exchange words with him,so she started to dig into the food..,forget the price tag attached to the dishes they tasted heavenly

Umm..I have two elder sister they're twins and at that time they were 13,so we couldn't stay on our own,we were given the option of staying with a relative or staying in an orphanage.

Well am pretty sure your relatives took you guys in so how did you become an orphan,he asked and she shook her head.

No one of them wanted to take us,they didn't like out parents much so the hatred passed down to us,we had no other place to go..so we could only stay at an orphanage.
