You should rest a bit, Alexa said and Mia laid down while Alexa say beside her,she.eecomds later her eyes just happened to look at th clock infront of her and she realized she had to go to work and most importantly Ayden's mom was coming.

It was already 2:30pm,and she had to be there before 3:00pm

How did time fly so quickly,I have to go now mia,Alexa who was already on her feet .

Mia struggled to sit down before asking"where are you going",is something wrong?.

No I just have to be somewhere..,when you get discharged come over to the apartment okay..,bye,and with that she ran out of the room.

Oh my..,she just abandoned me here, Mia sighed and laid back on the bed.

Alexa who was on the street now looked around for a taxi but she didn't find any.

What bad luck is this,any taxi at all please show up,she pleaded but nothing,she decided to go a little in foot before she could maybe find a taxi.

She was walking down the pedestrian road when she noticed a pretty middle aged woman struggling with a masked man.

Somebody help me,she cried out as the man tried to snatch away her bag.

Without thinking twice Alexa rushed over to help the woman but just before she could reach,the man pushed the lady to the ground and ran away with her bag.

Ma'am, are you alright?,did you get hurt?, Alexa asked worriedly as she helped the woman you her feet.

She was a middle aged woman but her facial features were very pleasant to the eyes,she had delicate features and one wouldn't believe she was actually middle aged.

He took the back, should we go to the police and report?,Alexa asked.

No it's fine, the police won't take the case serious though,she said.

I don't have much inside the bag,just a little change u wanted to use go see my son,she added.

Oh..,umm u don't have much with me but you can use this to go, Alexa said and gave her the money she had with her.

Look I already called a taxi so you can't decline my offer now, please accept it,if you don't you'll probably stand here,Alexa said and the woman smiled warmly,Alexa couldn't help but think about her mother,they talked over the phone but not frequently.

I'll go now,thank you child,I'll be sure to repay back the favour,the woman said and got into the cab before it sort away,Alexa stood there smiling for a while before her face dropped.

She really missed her mom,she has been you busy with school and all to visit her and her mom's time is limited now as she was expanding her business in country C and got support from the mayor.

After the engagement with Ayden and Ashley, Alexa's mom felt bad got alexa as she had no idea what had occurred and her boyfriend ended up getting engaged to someone else.. probably maybe her step sister ad the mayor had asked her mom to marry him do they were now engaged and planning a wedding.

She soon stepped back into reality.

She looked into her bag in search of any change but she was constantly followed by bad luck that day and couldn't find any money do she increased her pace walking as quickly as she could before finally the company came into view.

The doctor came in a few minutes later with the prescribed painkillers got her.

Here are the drugs,the time to take it is written, your arm might still hurt for a few days so make sure bit to exert it and if you feel more pain feel free to come back for a check-up,the doctor explained.

She held the drugs in her hand and stood up from the bed leaving to room,she was about to pass through a corner when she bumped into a strong figure and almost fell back.
